With a pull-on elastic waistband, our most comfortable chinos have an easygoing feel and just the right amount of stretch. These flowing wide-leg pants look and feel great all day long.
It's not easy to make a classic even better, but we did. First, we added a touch of stretch to traditional cotton and washed it for exceptional softness and ease. Then, we added a full elastic waistband for comfort worthy of lounging and style ready for any occasion.

Less comfortable than blue lakewash pants with a lower rise and less stretch. The fabric is a bit heavier so less practical for summer.

Perfect color and style. Very stiff fabric
Style and color were exactly what I was looking for. However, I didn’t even take the item out of the packaging to try on because the fabric was so stiff that I knew the pants would be uncomfortable to wear. The term “lakewashed” implies softened to me, but this fabric wasn’t at all soft. Very disappointing.

I am 5’10 and slim, not skinny, and these are the most flattering pants I have bought in years. I bought the 10 medium/tall and they look so good. I am just sad they discontinued the black. I was about to buy 4 more pairs.

Perfect, easy chinos

I have other LLBean pants that fit me well, but I found the fit of these off. The med/tall length, which is usually perfect for me, was a little short with these. Also, the waist landed in a strange place.

Fit just OK, Fabric nice.
Fabric is nice, fit is generous or ample, (size m, black) but the outer side seams are not straight and dip out at about knee area on both legs. The pants are meant to be wide leg and ankle length, but seams are not straight like shown in the LL Bean photo . Will keep them but not excited now and can’t wear for certain occasions but casual may be ok.

Poor Quality Elastic-DO NOT BUY! FLAWED!
I am so unhappy. I’ve never placed so many orders and made so many returns before. What is happening to this company? The elastic in these pants is SO LOOSE ABD STRETCHED OUT it’s RIDICULOUS! Made in India, I’m not surprised by the poor quality. The elastic feels OLD!

They looked like clown pants on me, even after I erred on the smaller of the two sizes I was between per the sizing guidelines. Whey they say wide leg, they mean WIDE leg! They were ridiculously large in addition to that feature, to the point where I wonder if these were meant to be labeled as 16 instead of 6.

Disappointing

I bought khaki (yellowish) in size 14. As requested , I washed them. I did not use cold water but threw them in with a regular warm load. There was slight shrinkage which was fine but I still have to have the pants shortened. ( I am 5'7" and weigh 150.) There was little need to iron. The pants have a wide elastic band and fit nicely. They are not heavy or stiff. Considering other colors. Recommend.

Great pants!
I wanted loose, wide leg pants and these were perfect! I haven't ran them through the dryer yet because I'm afraid they will shrink and they do wrinkle out of the wash. That is my only complaint as I hate to iron. :-)
