With a pull-on elastic waistband, our most comfortable chinos have an easygoing feel and just the right amount of stretch. These flowing wide-leg pants look and feel great all day long.
It's not easy to make a classic even better, but we did. First, we added a touch of stretch to traditional cotton and washed it for exceptional softness and ease. Then, we added a full elastic waistband for comfort worthy of lounging and style ready for any occasion.

Comfy!
I bought both the boulder and chambray colors and am happy with them as it is difficult for me to find pants that fit. I purchased these based on a review that said they were too long. I really wish there was a “tall” option in addition to “med. tall.” The waist fits fine (which is often too tight for my not so trim waist), but the hips are way too big (but that’s an issue with my body proportions). They do wrinkle quite easily and were wrinkled before sitting down, but that’s okay.

Fit issues
I recently bought my third pair of these pants despite some reservations. In every case I have had to go down a size because they run extremely large; the waist in my regular size was several inches too loose. The older version also had a very short rise, which made them a bit uncomfortable, but I loved the material and wide legs because I could wear them year round. The rise in the new version is better, but the pants are overall much bigger--too baggy even after sizing down. It makes them look a bit sloppy, so despite being more comfortable, I don't like them as much as the older ones.

These are comfy, wash and dry well--no ironing unless you are picky. Wide legs are great for air circulation. Going to decorate with retro flower patches with fabric glue. I have a long torso so I wish the rise was a bit higher.

OK but not what I expected
the fabric on the waist band is so thick and stiff that it's difficult to tie tight enough to feel comfortable. I've washed them and it didn't make a difference. They were also a LOT longer than the sizing said on the chart. I've had to hem them so they're ok, but I would not order them again nor would I recommend them either. Just an average pair of pants from LL Bean where everything is always outstanding. This was not up to LL Bean standards.

Favorite pants
I have now purchased almost every color made in these pants as they are my easy “go-to” when I want to look slightly stylish but still be comfortable. The first time wearing these, my daughter asked me if I realized how “cool” I looked! Any mother knows what a compliment that is! They are also great to wear in transition seasons when it’s too warm for heavy pants but too cold for shorts.

Comfy but high-waisted and too large.
I wanted to love these pants because they are so comfortable. But they fit like they were high waisted. I probably could have ordered a regular 16 or 18 instead of the Plus 18W size. I already washed and dried them hoping they would shrink a bit. I will still wear these around the house, but not to work which is the reason I purchased them in the first place. Also, the Dark Taupe color looks more dark green than dark brown.

Amazing fit!
Love the way these pants fit. The waist is not too big like the LL Bean sweats and my legs have room to breathe. Only issue is that the pants are slightly long. I am 5'7 and I find the pants an inch too long for my liking. Besides that, the pants are overall great!

Not True to Size at All
I'm a size 4. I've been a small/ size 4 for many years. I really wanted to enjoy these pants but even though I purchased them in a 4, the pants feel like a 6. They fall off of my butt constantly and are way too bulky and baggy. The pockets do not work properly. Anything I put in them falls out. I've cracked a phone since it fell out of the pockets. Just lost an ID card that fell out as soon as I sat down. They pockets are so loose and baggy that I can fit an entire clutch purse in them. The legs are so long that they drag on the floor. I'm not a petite woman but I'm drowning in these pants. I'm 5'5 142 pounds. It feels like they did generous sizing to make larger people feel smaller by labeling the big pants as a 4. I am so disappointed because I should have just returned these instead of trying to make it work the past month or so. I will get them hemmed to fit properly once I have the time, because I do like the material and don't want it to be a complete waste.

Fun and comfortable! Not high waisted.
I have a pair in grey/blue which I love. Excited to see the green color and bought a pair right away! These are comfortable and casual - I dress up for work with a nice shirt. Can wear in cool or warm weather which is why I love them so much. Definitely more fun than a traditional chino!Also, these are not high waisted. Something I have struggled with these past few years.
