Top Notch Tote
This is the best canvas bag I have ever had! The canvas is very heavy duty and the leather straps are very attractive and strong. I have used it many times and it still looks like new. The color is just right for this time of the year (Sept-Nov) but the strength, capacity and craftsmanship of this bag will also work for other seasons of the year.

Lifelong amazing Tote

Medium Navy /White with Leather Handles !
I bought this boat & tote bag for a Mother's Day gift to myself, and I am so glad I did ! It is awesome ! I purchased the navy/white with the leather handles. I had it monogrammed in the Turkey Red thread with flared lettering ! The material is excellent quality but most of all the leather handles make the bag so much more Beautiful ! Buy it !

Handles make the bag
I bought the medium tote and it’s super easy and comfortable to throw over your arm for a day trip or errands. Well made in the USA as the card said. I do miss having any embellishments though (like the Montauk at JC). This is a very basic tote. Would love to see Bean add an outside pocket and a clip or ring for keys. Those extras would make this a stand out.

I love L.L. Bean so I was really excited about this bag. The stitching is coming out and I have only had this bag for a month. I expect more for the $99.00 price tag. I will be returning this and I will not be buying a replacement. I would not recommend purchasing. The photos are all of the exterior of the bag.

Leather handle is a big plus

I agree with another reviewer -- on the open top, dark-colored totes, like the beautiful emerald green one I ordered, it would look far more attractive to use a matching thread. As it was, the white thread on all the seams and handles and webbing showed badly on the inside, and with the open top, was really sloppy looking, esp with all the loose threads. Returned.
