I’d expect a $100 tote to be stitched neatly. This is on the inside but since the bag doesn’t zip it is actually really noticeable. Loose ends of threads sticking out every which way.

Great day trip bag!
Love, love, love this bag! I bought medium rust/mustard and it’s perfect for a day trip to carry water bottles, book, sweater, etc. I never intended to use it as a purse, so I don’t mind there are no internal pockets. The size is perfect for what I need. Highly recommend!

Lovely bag….that is extremely well made!
This is the best bag I ever had ! I have to carry a lot of things and everything fits and more! I am very happy with this bag! I do have a suggestion for the makers! Do the same everything bag, but add a pouch on the front for keys, etc. and a second pouch on the inside for a phone! Then it will be absolutely perfect!!

Unfortunately, the piping used to stiffen the leather strap was not stitched and the plastic piping (which has a surprisingly sharp end!) is constantly feeding out… the rest is sturdy and the medium is super versatile for errands/shopping (now that so few merchants have bags), play dates, and car-based travel. Such a shame.

Everything I was looking for!
My mother bought me a new bag every year and after she passed I just have not been able to buy a bag that makes me happy. I told my son that I wanted something large enough for my laptop and water bottle, but durable, and have large handles for my larger upper arms. Something that looked like me and my style. I also wanted it to be a nice brand and not insanely over priced. We walked in to Bean to get him new laces for his duck boots and he saw this bag first! He was so excited! As a teenage boy you would not expect but he said he had been looking for my perfect bag everywhere he went, to try and surprise me and here it is! So, he took it from the hook and walked right to the register with it!
