Much too large for our queen bed.
Much too large for our queen bed. We were disappointed how much this hung over the sides of the bed. It was a struggle to get out of bed!!

Organic honeycomb coverlet
I really like it ! The color is lovely and it is just the right weight . I haven't washed it yet, but I went by the reviews and it should be fine. I may need an extra light layer in the MN winter , but it seems like a great year round quilt . Just what I was looking for!

Beautiful bedspread
This is a lovely, well-made, organic bed covering. Although it is listed as a “coverlet”, it is perfect as a bedspread for us. The bedspread would be a bit too long, and cover the drawers that are under our bed. We are very happy with this.

Dog Dog Good
We are dog people -- two small, in door dog that sleep in a crate. In the morning we "release the hounds" and they bound up to the bed. We have needed a replacement bed spread for about 4 years. Tried a few with nothing acceptable - varying problems with threads and/or fabric being caught by paws/nails. This one has met our hopes and avoid our fears.

Never disappoints
I have used these coverlets for years as they are easily washable and always look nice on the bed. They are a perfect weight. My last one was years and years old...finally showing its age (we have dogs so these get washed more often)....very happy

Heavy but not too hot
Love this coverlet. Actually have both this and the queen spread. They feel very heavy and first thought was “this is going to be way too hot for this time of year”. It is not. Best descriptive word I can come up with is it seems to “breathe”.

Beautiful, light-weight coverlet
I bought the coverlet for our king bed. It is big enough to drape nicely on both sides and at the end, and I can fold it once at the top under our pillows. I love that it does not hit the floor. It is very soft and beautiful! The grey is a soft grey, not too dark or too light.

Should be sold as a blanket, not a bed cover
This coverlet is much more like a blanket than a true matelasse. It is beautiful and very soft, if that is what you are looking for. But as a bed cover it doesn’t hold up to the rigors of daily life, especially in a household with pets. After six months it is covered in loose, pulled threads and is losing it’s shape.

High-quality, pretty, matelasse
It's not easy to find real, high-quality matelasse. As expected, this is that. The sea salt color is the perfect off-white color. It washes and dries extremely well. It is larger than I expected. I have not measured it to see if it is different than the measurements give, but it is larger than I thought it would be and larger than what I was replacing. On my relatively high king bed, the length reaches from beyond the top of the bed (placed under the pillows) to the floor at the foot of the bed. So the fabric puddles at the foot of the bed. I don't like that, so I fold it over under the pillows at the top. The width, however, is perfect--it reaches approximately half-way to the floor on each side of the bed. I like it very, very much.

Well made coverlet
Beautiful coverlet. I like that it's certified organic. I wish it was made in Maine but Portugal is fine and respects human rights. We won't buy from anywhere that doesn't any more.
