Nice quality
I like this pattern better than the other. The color is a nice blue. The king fits our split king bed very well. It’s a generous fit with plenty of fabric on both sides. Holds up well with our dog also!

Love Everything!
Bought 2 King size Coverlets. Bay Blue for our king bed - a great color which evokes the sea. Sea salt as a protection for our couch which we just had reupholstered - its the same color! Love the honeycomb texture, it feels soft and looks great. The King Coverlet size is perfect to cover the top mattress of the bed and also for our couch. For the bed its a great light coverlet for summer use. We measured it carefully - a bit bigger than on the tag 112"x106", but I think that allows for shrinkage when washed. (I also have 2 of the regular matelasse - I like honeycomb texture better. I do know however that the regular ones hold up to wear and washing very well!)

not even close to being acceptable.
This is my 4th coverlet from llbean over the years. I doubt I will ever order another. This is thin and very light. It is also impossible to get the wrinkles out on the bed. I can not imagine this product came from llbean which has always been my favorite store for so many products,

Perfect Sea Pine color
I’ve been looking for the perfect shade of green to match the beautiful but problematic trim in the guest bedroom. This was it! Also love the weight. Bought the twin bedspread rather than the coverlet because I wanted the sides to reach near the floor. It definitely does, and will be fine even after shrinkage. I would definitely use commercial front load washer as the wet weight of this bedspread must be considerable.

Nice bedspread. Cuudly, soft cotton. Generous sizing. Doesn't require shams as it is long enough for a traditional pillow fold. I got the shams, too, though. I saw negative feedback about durability including thread picks so I washed and dried on low just the shams -- twice. Perfect. I've used it a month now and no durability problems. This fabric and weave style is almost identical to the LLB Vintage Metalasse spread I've had 6 years now, with no problems. Disregard the naysayer reviews. They have cats that do the damage.

This bedspread is lovely, very well made and heavier than expected. The honeycomb pattern is very pretty, I just wish it was made with a softer material. But it is excellent quality and made to last.

Highly recommend for in between seasons.
Very comfortable and pretty. Looks as depicted in pictures. Lightweight but warm enough for fall. In winter would need under a down comforter (I am in New England). Would be too hot for summer I think

This slate blue coverlet is beautiful and a perfect bedspread weight. My bed frame is 14" high and the mattress is 12" thick. (No box springs) The size of the coverlet is perfect to cover both sides & foot of bed. It washed nicely on cold. On cold nights I put an extra 'throw' on top.

More of a fall/winter quilt than spring/summer.
It is well made but too heavy to be a light summer weight blanket in my opinion. It is also difficult, due to its size, for one person to shake it outside something I like to do.

I really love the color and texture. I have a queen bed - not overly high and the full/queen is really too small. I should have ordered the king but decided to keep it and pull it further over to one side. The other side does not show so it works.

I’ll take two!!
I love this so much I bought two! Perfect old fashioned style bedspread. The kind you can tuck your pillows under like my grandma used to do. Extra long and wide, really covers the bed fully. Nice weight and breathable. So happy with this purchase!!

Perfect color
I ordered the sandbar color-a lovely neutral to go with almost any styling. It looks and feels like a very well made product. We use it on a daybed, so it looks great as a "couch" and is warm when used as a bed for sleeping. As always, great LLBean quality.

Perfect color! But...
I ordered this to replace a queen coverlet I bought from Bean about 18 years ago. While the old one fits fine on our king bed, it was time for something new. I got the sea pine color, it's perfect in our room with the existing decor and feels so soft.
Unfortunately, the coverlet smells like it was soaked in fabric softener, and I have a very sensitive nose. So far I have washed it twice (second wash with vinegar), dried it, and spread it on the guest bed, far from my bionic nose. Hopefully a few days of airing out will solve the problem.

We’ve had this matelasse (Sea Salt) for a year, and it’s perfect for us. The dimensions are generous (I hate it when the bed cover doesn’t completely cover the sheets.). The weight and feel of the organic cotton is cozy but not stifling.
And it’s beautiful! I plan to buy one for our son and daughter-in-law.
