Convenient for toddlers and beyond!
I had purchased the same flip top lunch box (purple plaid) 5 or 6 years ago, and my daughter-in law borrowed it for her toddler when visiting us.
So I purchased a new lunch box for her, and was pleased to see it’s the same great quality and construction as my original one — and cost only a few more dollars!

Handle broke with first use, first day of school
My child was so excited for her new lunch box. With its first use, on the first day of school, the handle on the top came off at one end as she walked home from school.
So disappointed. LL Bean used to mean quality. Sending it back, requesting a refund.

My favorite lunchbox
This is a great lunchbox, with a way to keep the ice pack off the food, but keeping the co tents cool. The exterior doesn't sweat, and the options for carrying over the shoulder or by hand are welcomed features.

Perfect Size Lunchbox for Kids!
Grandson had this lunch box for two years using it only twice a week. Handle freyed from stitching which made me think it was a defective handle to pull out of the stitching when it waa seqm solid. Unfortunately tje supervisor did not understand construction or product development very well. I replaced the defective one myself as I love the lunchbox. It is roomy and holds the cold with an icepack in the lunchbox.

Lunchbox is very colorful and attractive + the monogramming is a plus. Granddaughter thinks it’s terrific and wants to use it daily. It has plenty of room for a little girl’s lunch and/or snacks. Another Bean winner! Would clearly recommend to others.

Wonderful lunchbox
My Granddaughter begged for this box all summer, for her new school year. I was hesitant as it’s pretty pricey. I finally relented and purchased it. She is so so very happy with it - especially the fact it has a shoulder strap! It’s also large enough to hold lunch , and snacks can conveniently be stored in web pocket of lid. So one very happy Grama , and granddaughter !

Not well designed
Top heavy keeps turning upside down. Strap is too long and not wide enough. Even if shortened it's huge tripping hazard; too low on bag which doesn't help. Front pocket too shallow/short to fit anything useful. Doesn't hold keys or phone or silverware. Hard to determine which zipper is for pocket. Doesn't keep items cool for more than a few hours. Got wet during rain walking into work, 9 hours later it was still damp.

Midnight Black Triangles-Handle broke on day 3
I bought 2 of these in 2 different colors. My son’s navy blue is holding up well. My daughter’s in the midnight black triangles had the handle break on the 3rd day of use. She said she saw others in this color in school with the same issue. She has been using the shoulder strap but we were very disappointed usually our bean purchases hold up for years.
