very stretchy
I don't like a tight fit so I bought a medium. Should have bought a small. The material is very thin and silky and stretchy and the neck is loose. .I'm keeping it because I can wear it under my fleece but I would not buy this item again.

Not For a Chunky Warm Single Layer!
It's sad to see so many negative reviews. I was delighted to find this basic in a petite, and in the soft spruce green. I wear it as a first layer under sweaters, and find it stretchy and perfect. With gentle handling, it seems to be holding up beautifully in the wash. Before I found this one, I purchased multiples that were more than twice this price, and they are not this quality. Bring me more rose, violet, blues, and teals please!!! Petites Rock!

I have been wearing Bean's interlock and pima turtlenecks for years. I ordered the soft stretch recently and am undecided as to whether I would buy more of this style. It is very comfortable, but is lighter weight and bit too stretchy for me.
