Flattering
For this middle-aged, athletic frame, they are quite flattering. Skin the ankle with a slight flare and hug the hips nicely. My inseam is 32”. Size 8 is a little baggy, but I prefer that for the hang of these. Great find! The sailcloth looks great with a brown belt, navy tshirt.

(Nearly) Perfect Relaxed Chino!
The relaxed leg, crisp fabric, and rise of these pants are excellent! I've been on the hunt for a classic menswear-style chino for women and these fit the bill perfectly. Love that there aren't any silly gimmicks like an elasticated waistband or stretch fabric, and the button fly looks clean and feels timeless. The inseam (on the size 2) provides enough length for me (5' 3") to single and double cuff the pant neatly. There is also minimal show-through on the fabric.
Knocking off one star even though I love everything else because the finish quality is a bit lacking for a +$100 pant. The buttons on the fly don't feel securely attached (but spares are included just in case), and the side seams, while secure, have sloppily finished seam allowances.
Overall, I've been quite enjoying wearing these pants, as the warm white color pairs with just about everything. They wear great in warm weather and when it's cold, can easily fit a pair of tights underneath.

Excellent quality
A beautiful, rugged and cool chino. I’m 5’3” and cuff once for more casual look. Took off 1 star for sizing- I’m a true 4 and had to size up to 6.

Excellent Quality & Style but with Caveats Ahead
Super cute. I'm definitely keeping them. Love the fit, even though the legs are a little baggy. I think that once they are washed, they'll soften up a bit. I love the fabric and color. It is thick and will wear well, I think. The button fly is a process, but I'll make that work. These are not IMO mid-rise (LL Bean, please work on what your mid-rise is b/c it's the highest mid-rise I've found and I can't even imagine how high the high-rise must be). These are probably not for the super curvy. I'm of the inverted triangle body type - shoulders broader than hips, thin but not waifish, etc., and so they work on my body because the hips are narrower and the waist is squarish. Regardless, I found them true to size (the Boyfriend Jeans in size 4 petite also fit & I'd also recommend). Here's what I wish: I wish these had a lower rise, I wish these also came in navy, and I wish all the LL Bean products were of this quality. That's what I wish. Otherwise, I'm happy with this purchase.

Love these pants
These are my very first pair of Chino pants and I love the look. From the length to the wide leg and the mid waist. The button fly is a great touch too. Very stylish and comfortable.

High quality sailcloth
I never review anything. Ever. However these boyfriend chinos are fantastic! Finally, the original LL Bean quality in fabric and cut. I have been very disappointed lately with the quality of fabric with so many of Bean’s clothes, and it’s refreshing to have purchased these classic updated pants.
