Somewhat disappointed
I have always worn LL Bean flannel on bottoms. I know they fit well and last. When I bought a pair this year I was surprised by how much lighter the material was. Same good construction but much less hefty material wise.

Soft flannels a bit on the longer side
Love the colors and how soft the material feels. Not sure if the flannel quality is as heavy as the last pair of pants I ordered, though. Also, the legs if my petite size 10 seem very long to me this time. Hoping the next ones will fit perfectly again. I'll keep these for now.

poor quality
I bought these to replace a pair of LL Bean flannel pajama pants that held up well for six years and finally wore through at the knees. This new pair has snagged threads and lots of pills after a few months of wearing and washing. Very disappointed in the quality of the fabric for the price.

Order 1 Size Larger; They Shrink
I bought a size larger because flannel always shrinks in the dryer. Over two wash and dry cycles, these PJs shrank 2-3 inches in length and a little in width. Now they are the right length for me (5'5"). I would suggest washing in cold, and drying on a drying rack to avoid shrinking too much.

Poor quality
My reason for the one star is that after a few wearings they are already fraying at one of the seams in the front of the pants. The pants are loose in that area so it’s not a matter of me squeezing in to pants that don’t fit and causing the rip, it’s poor quality. For the price LL Bean charges for these pants it’s not acceptable.
