Rated 3 out of 5 by ColoradoKid from Too Long, and Too High I'm 5' 5 1/2", and weigh 129 pounds. I ordered 6 med tall. (This is the same size I ordered last year in the flannel lined blue jeans with the elastic waist.) These jeans are longer -- they measured 33" inseam, and the rise was nearly 13". The waist is somewhat loose. The crotch hangs too low. It is possible if I washed and dried on hot, maybe they would have shrunk up a bit, but I just didn't think I would be happy with them, so I will be returning them. I felt the fabric was very nice, and I liked the tan color. The lining was nice flannel. I would love to see flannel lined jeans with a lower rise. (A 10" rise would be perfect.)

Rated 1 out of 5 by myfaveLLB from Problems with these jeans You cannot button these jeans without nearly breaking a finger! The shaft of the riveted button is too short, and the button itself is as thin as a dime, so it was impossible for me or my husband to get the button through the hole without great struggle. It's even hard to do when not wearing the pants. The button is also affixed to the waistband off-center from the button hole, making the tight waist even tighter, and is practically on top of a seam in the waistband, making it extra hard to button. The legs of the jeans are voluminous! These jeans have been a low-quality piece of inventory for too long--one that is unusual for LL Bean--and I wish they would address it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Shana from Fit issues First let me say the quality was great, my issue is the fit. So for anyone around my size, this review is for you. I have a 33 inch inseam, and am 5’9” wearing a size 12 in a tall. I ordered these because they were the only lined jeans in a tall available. The waist came up 3 inches above my belly button and fit snug enough I was uncomfortable sitting, and the legs were HUGE. If I pushed the waist down to my natural waist, the crotch was hanging down 3 inches, and the legs were even more HUGE. It is as if all the extra length was added between the waist band and the crotch. I just need a few more inches at the end of the leg. Will be returning.

Rated 2 out of 5 by libbiesmom from strange fit I wanted to like these, I wanted the flannel lined warmth. But the thighs were so large i could have fit both my legs in them. I now wear size 16, and purchased the comfort waist because I no longer have a tiny waist and the regular waist jeans are too tight in the waist. The "comfort " waist was stiff and poked me ( very uncomfortable) and the butt was snug ( I have an average size butt) So i reluctantly returned them. If the thighs were smaller, the butt a little roomier and the regular waist a little larger I could try again, they might actually fit well enough to keep. I have other LLbean pants in size 16 that fit pretty well, so it's the shape of these jeans that is off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by IsThisNameTakenToo from Worse than Mom Jeans I really wanted to like these jeans, but the cut just doesn't work for me. I'm 5'4" and pear-shaped. These jeans gaped horribly in the back which is what the elastic is suppose to help with. Unfortunately instead of the elastic being on the side-back, the elastic is to the side-front. This doesn't help women who have larger hips/butts (i.e pear-shaped). It would be more beneficial for women with flat backsides/larger tummies (i.e. apple-shaped). Additionally, these came up WAY past my belly button (over 3 inches above), so they were very uncomfortable to sit in or bend over in. These need to be redesigned with the elastic towards the back and the cut to be at or below the belly-button.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hatu48 from warm winter jeans I've bought several lined (fleece and flannel) LL Bean jeans over the past 15 years: they've all worn and washed/dried wonderfully, no shrinkage but also no hot water or hot dryer. My last ones were these jeans. The button was tight in buttonhole so I snipped the buttonhole slightly larger and reinforced that end with a few stitches. The length is right on for me so if you want to roll them get the 'tall' length. The comfort waist adds about 1 1/2" of stretch. My favorite pair were lined canvas pants, fit/looked better; not so bulky nor such a high waist; the crotch depth has seemed to lengthen over the years. Would love to buy those pants again since I wore out mine playing/working in the snow/mud/rain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Caledonia from Comfortable fit. Attractive lining. These flannel- lined jeans fit nicely. The comfort waist is a hit with layered tops. The dark indigo lining is very nice looking. I love these jeans!! The Only negative is that I find them difficult to button. There is a fairly thick seam right above the zipper where the button is mounted and the button on these jeans has a flat-top with a fairly short neck. This makes it difficult to close because of the height of the bulky seam next to it. All other regular (un-lined) jeans that I have, have a brass button that is taller and beveled on the back side, making them very easy to open and close.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Harpsichord from Plus sizes offer no varieties with inseams One inseam does not fit all. I'm limited if I want to wear my pants to tucking them into a pair of wide top pair of boots or walking around looking like there's a flood coming. I'm still disappointed that L.L. Bean does not offer us additional inseams. Men have a variety of inseams available, I guess it's just OK for men to have long legs. The button is difficult out of the wash, but it does get easier throughout the day. If you have shorter than 30 inch legs these will be perfect for you. However, if you have a 32 to 34 inch inseam and need a plus size... Not so much!
