Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't buy for fat little feet! I ordered these well ahead of winter when on sale for forty four ninety five. I was guessing the size so I knew it was a chance as feet grow, however the length was never the issue. My son has always had a wider foot (stride rite shoes size wide or xw) but I thought getting one size up in these boots would help. no luck just too narrow and would fit best on a child with slim narrow feet. The boots themselves are terrific and maybe we will try again next winter if he grows a slimmer foot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Runs narrow and small My son wears a size 4 wide and I ordered these in a 5. I loved them when I took them out of the box and they were pretty easy to get on my 18 month old. However when I took the liners out to check the size the liner just fit his foot so no space for a thicker sock and it was a little too narrow so we're sending them back for a size 6. So order up one size especially if your child has wide feet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very difficult to get on While these boots are warm and work well once on, they are extremely difficult to GET on. We can't get our toddler's foot in the boot when the liner is already placed inside (too much friction with the liner? It squishes? I don't know, it just won't work). So, we resorted to putting on the liner first, then putting the boot on (time consuming!!). However, when you do that, the thick seam on the outside of the liner gets caught on the seam of the inside of the boot where the rubber bottom area starts (at the heel). Nearly impossible to get past. And we have the correct size, for sure. We'll never buy these boots again, unfortunately, as getting them on is half the battle with a kid!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for long winter days outside! I love these Northwood boots for my rambunctious boys. They love to be outside in the snow and mud all winter long and never complain about cold feet. Should they step in a puddle that is deeper than the top of the boot (almost never with the big kids version but occasionally with the toddler version) I love that I can just take out the warm liners and put in a fresh, dry pair so they can get right back out to playing. Highly recommend to friends and family!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot Along with the snowsuit, I know that my 15 month old will stay nice and toasty this winter. The boot is very easy to get on and off, and I love the fact that it comes with two removable inserts. If one gets wet, the play doesn't have to stop! If I could wish for one thing, though, it would be that the boot size started at Size 4. The size 5 is a bit big for my son and he walks a bit like he's wearing ski boots, but hopefully by the time the snow starts, his foot will have a bit of a growth spurt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best snow boots for toddlers! In our experience this is the best snow boot for toddlers! The boot is exceptionally easy to get on and off, our two year old was able to do it all by herself. The boots come with two pairs of liners so if they get wet while playing outside, no worries just get the dry pair and you are good to go! We did size up one size as the liners are a bit snug on the foot, and it's so hard to tell when growth spurts of a toddler will happen. We wanted to make sure the boots would last through the long northeast winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made, easy to put on I bought these boots for my year and a half old grandson who lives in New Jersey. My daughter reports: I've been very pleased with these boots so far. I disagree with other reviews claiming they are difficult to get on - as long as I undo the velcro and pull the tongue forward, they slide on my son's feet easily. They velcro is very strong and looks like it will hold up for a while. The extra liners are fantastic (though due to lack of snow, I have yet to use them). They are sturdy boots but even as a new walker, he has no problem moving in them. In fact, he likes them so much that he will bring them to me and ask to put them on! Most importantly, these boots keep my son's feet warm and dry. I ordered a size up hoping I could squeeze two seasons out of them. But if not, they should still be in great shape for kid #2. Thanks Grandma!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Updated rating - excellent At first I was not impressed with these because they seemed very heavy. However, my son loved them, wore them through the winter, and they still look brand new. I wish they made this style for his current size (11) - we had the 9 last year. I can see how these might be too heavy for younger toddlers, but my 3 year old managed with no problem.
