Rated 5 out of 5 by Ups8Phil from Almost Perfect I hate gloves but winter requires me to wear them. I love these because they're not too bulky nor too thin. They keep my hands warm even when I'm outside for any length of time. I'm in upstate NY so your conditions may differ. I especially like the knit cuffs. So many gloves are lacking them and my wrists would get cold. Not the case with these gloves. Sizing is a little odd. I typically wear a small or medium glove. I ordered and received a small but they're still a little large in the finger tips. That's not really a concern until I try pushing buttons in my car. A minor inconvenience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BackwoodsBozo from First gloves of the season Yesterday - October 23 - brought the first snowfall of the season into town from the high country. The first one is usually wet and this was no exception. My new Rangeley Gloves filled the bill for hand protection on a damp early winter-in-autumn day that felt colder than the thermometer indicated. Nice quality deerskin covers the total palm-side with a double layer where it's most needed for grip and durability. The synthetic fabric on the back of the hand has a fine weave and looks to be high quality in its own right. I especially like the snug but not too tight "wristers" that let the gloves form a weather seal under jacket cuffs without too much bulk. Another winner from LL Bean. Think about getting a pair to keep in the car year round "just in case".

Rated 5 out of 5 by Buttebuff from Montana Gloves Montana. Think harsh winters, hard jobs (cutting firewood, pitching feed to livestock), and rugged folks who seek excellence, durability, and a fair price in their product choices. That's where I live and raise North America's largest land animal, bison, to boot. These gloves are wonderful. They ward off cold, moisture, and occupational hazards (burrs, thistles, rusty fences, slivers). Moreover, they offer a true fit. I ordered a medium and they conform to my hands with short fingers. Have you ever noticed that medium, large, and XL cheap gloves follow a uniform long one-size-doesn't-fit-all finger length? What's more, they are attractive. My choice were the red ones and they are so classy that my wife lamented that a women's pair are not available.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BeanB4u from Nice glove, short fingers This glove is really nice. I haven't experience any of the cold fingertips that some others have expressed. The look great, I've received a ton of complements on them. I only have 1 knock on these gloves: 1) The fingers are really short and, because it's mostly leather, there's not a whole lot of stretch to them. I have long fingers so this is normally an issue with gloves, but I'm not sure the finger sizing is increased with glove sizing. I've been trying to stretch them out every time I wear them as a result.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hylan from Nice Warm Gloves Purchased gloves to provide myself with a nice pair of winter gloves for the New England winters. While the gloves are warm and do not get wet quickly, they do become damp if you come in contact with a wet snow for more than an hour. That said I have yet to find gloves that will keep you completely dry under the same conditions, in the same price range. Overall very satisfied with these gloves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TrumpWillMAGA from So far so good These gloves are not inexpensive so I expected a lot. They are warm. Some reviewers mentioned that their fingers were still cold. I didn't find that. My hands were very warm. The cuff around the wrist keeps the wind and snow out. They are thick gloves. I find it annoying when trying pick a key from the key ring or putting phone in my pocket. Aside from those first world problems, they are darn good gloves. I haven't got them wet yet, so not sure about the waterproof aspect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ReReRere from Rangeland gloves This my second pair. First pair is three years old . Make approx. 30 cords of wood each year and they held up that long. Just wore out now so needed a new pair. Have cold hands and these keep my hands warm.
