It is a workhorse yet feels soft on my bare feet.
I have had other water hog mats in the past and they are great. The most amazing thing about this one is that it is soft on the surface. When I remove my garden clogs and wipe my bare feet before entering the house the mat feels cushy and soft on my bare feet. Love this and will buy more for other doorways.

Easy to clean water hog rugs.
LL beans water hog mats are the best at catching sand and dirt. They’re nice looking mats for entryways into homes and cottages. Highly recommend for high traffic areas.

A Very Substantial Mat
Solid, hefty, and doesn’t move from the floor or roll up on the corners. I got one each for the front and back doors, and a third one to use as a kitty litter mat. It’s much better than mats sold for that purpose at the pet store.
