great sweats
These are exactly the right weight, not heavy or too thick, and comfort for winter weather. They are very soft, the pockets are roomy and the tie waist band is large so it doesn't curl and they wash nicely and like new. would buy again.

Soft sweatpants, but...
These sweats were very soft and I wanted to keep them, but the waistband needs to be reconfigured. The thin shoelace drawstring within the large waistband resulted in puckering around the waist. Hopefully LLBean can come up with a better design.

These sweat pants are dressy enough to wear out and would feel warm on a cold evening. The fabric is very soft and washes well. The drawback is they run a bit large, especially in the waist and length for petites. They are good value on sale.

Nice fabric poor fit.
Much too large in the waist. Also the drawstring is too narrow to properly cinch the waist in. It’s like a shoelace. Makes the waist bunch up attractively.

I Really Love These Pants
These pants are so soft and comfortable. I am slowly purchasing one of every color (as they go on sale!) All other sweat pants come to my ankles or above, but because these are offered in medium tall, they actually are long enough for me. And did I mention that they have pockets!!!?

Nicely made but not quite what I hope for...
These are nice pants and well made but are not the heavier weight sweats I thought they were. I ordered petite length but they are too long for my 5'2" height. I would order them again in a smaller size which may make a difference

Soft sweats with large waist
These seats are soft and comfortable, but have a large, thick waist with drawstring that bunches. The elastic in the waist needs to be shortened. The wsist is just too big. Other than waist, they are true to size.

Talls are tall
I ordered small tall because I can’t handle short sweats. I’m 5’6” and these are tall on me. I’m fine with a bit of a roll up while I wait to see how much they’ll shrink. The fabric is soft and seems like a nice mid weight. So far so good.

Waistband is WAY too big and bulky
I got this today and was disappointed by how big and bulky the waistband is. Even when I use the draw strings it doesn’t fit right. According to the size chart I would be a size medium but I ordered a small because I’m never a medium but I should have gone with extra small. I tried to shrink them in the dryer but the huge elastic waistband won’t shrink. Very disappointing

Love these pants
I have 5 pairs of these pants and am back for more. I work primarily from home so want something comfy to wear all day, but can also wear to drop kids off at daycare, take the dog for a walk, etc., without looking too frumpy. These work pretty good for that especially the darker colors (e.g., light grey still look like sweats). Like most llbean, I think they run a bit big. I’m 5’4”, 130lbs and I purchase a XS medium tall. I have long, thin legs so need the tall to make them full length, but wish there was something in between the regular and tall. They do shrink a bit after first wash, but not much, and they do stretch out a bit during the day.

Way Too Long for Petite Size
I am 5’ 2.5” tall. These sweat pants fit well and look nice but they are way too long. I had to hem them 2.5” shorter. How can these be called petite? I also bought the petite cuffed jogger sweat pants and they fit fine. I recommend buying those instead.

Very comfortable but are these sweatpants?
These are high-quality comfortable cotton french terry pants. However, I expected them to be soft and fleecy inside like my other sweatpants are but these aren't fleecy inside. Also, I was hoping for a relaxed waist that stretches more versus a tighter form-fitting band. I was going to use these for lounging, yoga, walking, and possibly sleeping in, but for me, they're not comfortable enough for that. I own several LL Bean fleece-backed perfect-fit jeans that I wear during the winter and I've enjoyed those for years. I may try Bean's Perfect Fit Orignal pants because they look like they have a more relaxed fit, I only wish those came in straight legs. LL Bean's makes the best straight leg pants and has petite sizes. I've bought clothes here for years but, I'll keep looking for some fleecy sweatpants.

Very nice sweats though not happy
I would have given 5 stars if only the length was for Petites as the sweats are great. I had a friend who is 5'6" try them on & the length was perfect for her. I, however, after paying for the sweats at LL Bean, then had to go to the tailor and pay an additional $28 to have them shortened as I am only 5'2". Please use a guide to get the length correct for Petites. Until then, I will never purchase another pair of pants from LL Bean. I have gone through this before and I am annoyed at myself for buying pants from them again.
