Too Tight in the Calves
For me, these were a terrible fit. They were so tight in the calves that they almost looked like leggings! That being said, I do have wide calves, however, the only reason I purchased these is because the joggers — which I've been buying for years and fit perfectly — are on back order. Furthermore, I rarely have an issue with pants being too tight in my calves. Sent them back.

Favorite sweat pants, another color
This is my 4th pair of Ultrasoft Sweats w/ straight leg. My only complaint is that at 5'2", I have to shorten the pants. Otherwise, fit is great. I rarely wear green but this green is virtually neutral so works with blue or print top. Just glad to have another warm & comfy pair!

Love these pants!
These have been my go-to pants first thing in the mornings. They feel cozy while I have my tea, then comfy for working on the computer, then fine for dipping outside with the trash or to the garage. I've even worn them to run to the grocery store! They fit great and are holding up great, too.

I love these pants! This is my 5th pairs and they are wonderful! They fit great, look great, and are easy to machine wash & dry. They can be worn casual for lounging, exercise, and grocery shopping, as well as dressy for eating out, movies, and even wine tasting. They are my favorite pants 🌟

Great fit, super soft
As the name implies, they are super soft. I wear these all the time, I had to get a second pair. However, the blue and the black are really similar in color. They are not too tight, nor they loose like sweats. The wide waist band makes them really comfortable as well.

Not worth it
Was really disappointed in these pants and felt they were no at all the quality for the price. I was trying to replace ultrasoft pants I had from about 5 years ago and these came no where close to the previous version. Very thin and the leg shape was not at all relaxed and comfortable.

Addendum to 11/2024 review:
Late last year I complained about a decrease in quality of a number of LLBean items we have been purchasing for years. I had looked for a replacement for these Ultrasoft Sweats but had not found anything worthwhile or as comfortable. I decided to try ordering again. This time the length and quality seem consistent with the ones I've been wearing for years. I have to hope quality control has improved and so I ordered two more pairs yesterday. Now, if only my "Comfort Moc" comes back without all the additions (ie: "improvements") and my husband's long sleeved T-shirts get a new, more useful elastic at the wrists.

Comfortable, warm pants
I really like the pants, and ordered another. The fabric is soft, warm, does not add bulk like sweats do. I can wear in cold weather, the wind does not go thru like with a knit. I do not like the draw string waist. The waist band is thick, the shoe string is hard to pull tight, so pants don’t slide down.

Looks smart!
Just received these sweatpants in Heather gray. They are true to size. They look nicer than your standard sweatpants, and you can dress them up with the top you choose. Today I’m wearing with a Heather gray turtleneck and the light gray LLBean Airtight pullover. Looks sporty and sharp. I plan to wear these on a long flight at the end of the month. I’m very pleased with these pants as I was a little worried they might be too big, but I followed the measurements when ordering my size. Perfect fit! The pants drape nice, and they aren’t crazy thick. I’ll get a lot of use out of these pants during Florida’s winter season.

Not your regular sweats!
I received these for Christmas 2023 and loved them. They fit perfectly and are so soft and comfortable. I was wearing them so often that I bought two more pairs to alternate. I wear them for almost everything except dress pants. They’re that nice.
I liked them so much I bought my daughter a pair for her birthday, now I have her hooked on them.
They’re a little pricey but they’re well made and won’t fall apart
