Best item to walk in winter
I have had 3 pairs of these Stabilizers. They are an absolute must in northern New England where we have ice in our dirt roads. I can walk everyday with my dog and keep a good pace not worrying that I will slip.

Perfect fit, safer walking in New England weather
These are so good to help stabilize my walk on icy and hard-packed snow that I’ve decided to keep them on my LLBean snow sneakers all winter. Walking the dog in winter is so much safer with these on. I especially like the Velcro toe straps to insure a tight fit. So then I ordered a second pair of snow sneakers for softer snow and slush. Love them also!

I bought the Stabilicers Bean Traxx Traction device for when it is icy and I am walking our dog. They worked great. At first when I used them I would test them when I saw a patch of ice on the street. They did not slip and kept me balanced. I would recommend them for anyone who wants to stay active in winter weather.

These were a gift that was first put aside. However, two days later the receiver fell on an icy path. He came back into the house; he unboxed, put them on and left again. Returning later, he stated, “these things work pretty well”. That is a huge endorsement from an old, taciturn Mainer.

Love my Stabilicers.
They were a 2 man job to get onto my older leather hiking boots. I ordered the small. Boot size is 7. So I leave them on and use these boots for hiking rather than taking stabilizers off and on. I walked into Safeway with them. Ok until I hit another type of their linoleum and almost went flying. Caught myself as my bad leg (with torn hamstrings) went flying. I don't use them on linoleum inside my home. I don't know if they would damage the linoleum. I have recommended these to friends. I live in Alamosa, CO, and run my pack of dogs every day out in the desert.

Best all around cleat!
Awesome cleat w front strap to keep securely on boot. Spikes offer just enough traction on ice, snow etc. spikes won’t compress, flatten or fall off like coils.

Snow cleats
Have not worn them, thank goodness no more snow. 98 inches was enough this year. Bought a pair similar to these at hsn for 23.00 last year, but these fit higher on the front. And secure strap will be nice when put on heavy boots. Others just put on shoes. We’re ok and helpful.

Walking safely on ice in northern New York.
Bought these for my wife to navigate our icy terrain during the winter and spring around the house. She really likes them and feels comfortable while using. Something you have to watch out for though is the spikes when walking on wood structures such as a deck, where they will make really nasty gouges in anything you walk on that’s soft.

Perfect Replacement for Yaktrax
When my trusty Yaktrax finally gave up the ghost, I went looking for something with more of a spiky grip. These fit my Columbia hiking shoes perfectly. Some reviews state these are hard to get on and off. No harder than Yaktrax. Unlike Yaktrax, these provided me with a solid feel when I walked on bare pavement rather than a wibbly roller-skate feeling. I'm very glad I purchased these.

Worth it
Bought these about 5 years ago. I live in snow country with lots of snow to blow and icy roads to walk down. Easy to put on and off. They save me from falls and I feel lucky to have them. These are the best ones I've seen on the market. I would hate to face winter without them.

I ordered size medium which fits shoe sizes 8 through 10. My shoe size is 9. When I tried to put it on, it was a very tight fit - very tight fit. And difficult to put on. It definitely will not slip.

Steady as you go
Stays on you boots and grips very well. It does slip on thick ice. I wish the spikes were a little longer but I have recommended these to many walking friends and these are much better than many brands out there.
