I"m not sure what it is about these shirts but they are prone to stains and I have had to throw away many of them b/c i could not get stains out. they run a little big but feel quality. if not for staining i would highly recommend.

Classic cotton polo shirt
I've had a cotton knit polo shirt like this that I've worn for I don't know how many years. Over that time it's broken in beautifully, and even though slightly faded at the collar, it still looks and feels good. A great summer shirt. This new one I bought from L.L. Bean looks to be of the same high quality and comfort. Very happy to have found it.

Please stop spraying Formaldehyde Resin on shirts!
These shirts are high quality but them sprayed with Formaldehyde to decrease wrinkles. I must wash them in baking soday and detergent several times to get the Formaldehyde out (it causes me nwedles stabbing pain and itching since I am allergic to it). Please stop allowing these shirts to be sprayed with Formaldehyde. Don’t use hot water also since it shrinks cotton.

Nice fabric but WAY too long
I consistently wear a Medium Tall across most LL Bean products but this shirt is probably 4-5" longer than anything else I've gotten from them. It's too bad that the sizing chart is kind of useless here, because the fabric seemed pretty nice.

Good Value, but…
I’m 5’9 1/2” and 156 lbs. The medium is a bit too long (including the arms), but the small is too small. I hate the white buttons; bring back the dark ones from a few years ago. Small touch, but makes the polo look classy. Good price point, but I’d be willing to pay $1 more for nicer buttons. All in all, a nice shirt. Nice deep navy color.

Double LL Polo
I have ordered a lot of these shirts over the years. Just a great everyday polo shirt. They hold up over years of wear. The only problem I have encountered with them is if they get stained the stain can be very disfficult to get out. Especially something oily like salad dressing. Get at the stain immediately or it will become permanent. Colors I want to see, a dark Forest Green and Maroon.
