Good quality shirt
My husband loves these shirts. They are heavy but a good quality cotton. My only complaint is they don’t hold their color very well, tend to fade after two or three washings even in cold water. I do love that L.L. Bean offers so many size choices. My husband prefers the tall shirts since they tuck in and stay tucked in more easily.

Swapped for a regular, and the shirt is perfect
This shirt actually turned out to be too long, so I cancelled the order and got one in regular rather than tall. The regular large shirt is perfect, and my husband is really happy with it.

Quality of workmanship
I like these shirts. I have five. This particular one came with the upper button sewn in such a way that I couldn't release it. I had to cut the threads and resew the button corectly. First time that has happened.

Great shirt!
Very well made, thick material. I wanted a polo with a pocket for a pen. Some of the LL Bean stuff has dropped in quality, but I was very pleased with this shirt. Some manufactures I go XL but with LL Bean I usually go Large. I went with a large and it fits perfectly.

shrunk in the dryer
I bought most colors for my son. everyone of them shrunk in the dryer. Also after a couple of months they all got these black marks on them. Some where big black spots. Every shirt did that. I would definitely not by these. A waste of money.

Fantastic 100% Cotton Polo with Pocket
My husband has been wearing polo shirts for years. He likes 100% cotton polo shirts with pockets, which have become harder to find. Since the brands that he has worn in the past have changed fabrics and/or styling, they are no longer acceptable choices for him. My mother-in-law suggested that he try LL Bean’s Premium Double L Polo. I bought him one for Christmas 2023, and he loved the fit and comfort so much that I bought him two for Christmas 2024. I purchased them in size medium and have laundered them in warm water and dried them in the dryer on normal setting. I haven’t noticed any shrinkage.
