Perfect little bag
Bought one early 90s, nylon, still have it. I really like the canvas material. I use it for camera accessories. Chargers, batteries, lens cleaner etc.

Okay, but lower quality than waxed-canvas duffel
The bag was okay, but not the same quality as the Waxed-Canvas Duffel. I was hoping to pair this with the waxed-canvas duffel that is amazing quality; however, this bag was not a good pairing. The duffel handles are a quality leather while the handles on this are a basic fabric. The organization in the toiletry bag just seemed to waste space and the mirror was small and felt cheap. Honestly, I don't see how the bag compartments would be useful for most.
Hopefully LL Bean comes out with a better quality toiletry bag with a more basic 2-3 pocket design. I'd jump on it right away.

I have the other LL Bean model — without waxed canvas — and I prefer that model’s unwaxed material & flexibility. Just gave my wife the waxed canvas model. It is good looking, a bit stiff and easily shows scratches in the wax. But she LOVES it!! (So we like both models.)

They love to keep things in one place
I have bought this for my son, and I'm buying another one for his birthday. He loves these. I am also buying one for my 2nd son. When my 3rd son gets out of the military I am going to start buying them for him as well. I guess you could say I really like these for my sons. They are very durable.

Zipper Snags
The main compartment zipper snags on the interior mesh pocket when trying to unzip it.
The way the mesh is stitched, it has a roll that causes it to sit right up against the zipper. I will be returning it.

Great size. This bag is sufficiently compact to throw in the top half of a backpack, yet it holds a lot of stuff. Outside pockets are good for shampoo and conditioner. Inside pockets held medicine & cosmetics. The clear section within was a little small for my makeup. Also it is too small for brushes and curling iron. So if you want an "all-inclusive" bag you might want to size up. I like the small size of this one enough to make it a favorite for packing.

Fits way more than I thought!
So I got this to be my personal travel kit to hold my make up, moisturizers, hair and toiletries. I can’t say that I’m super high maintenance but I am far from having a simple routine. I pack a fair amount of make up and hair products and this is able to hold everything but my full size hairspray bottle, and a full-size curling iron. ( granted my shampoos and conditioner and body gel are travel sized). I finally have a go bag!

Quality Toiletry Bag
Well made, sturdy, functional bag. It has two plastic interior compartments to capture fluids in the event your luggage is crushed. My personal preference would have been to have one of these be mesh to give more flex on an over-packed bag, but that is just me. All the rest are elastic and zippered mesh that gives you plenty of organizing options. Excellent product. Will last many, many years..

This is a replacement for my old LL Bean medium sized toiletry bag which finally wore out.
My only complaint is that is just a bit smaller and therefore cant hold quite as much. Will have to get by with just a little less because I really like the bag.
