Size Down!
Just got them so can't speak on durability. I like how they look and feel but the stitching and leather edging is sloppy. I'm glad I got them on sale or I'd probably be annoyed enough at that to return them. Just wanted to leave a review letting you know to size down. I'm a 7.5 in not all but most shoes and these in a 7 are fairly roomy.

Love!
I bought these on a whim, and at first I was skeptical because they seemed to have a strange fit for my high arch. But today I wore them for farm chores on a below zero wind chill day and my feet weren't even thinking about feeling cold. My regular winter chore boots I would've been cold within minutes. They activate my quads more than other shoes do, but they're warm and secure on ice and snow and I am in love. I wish you had more in my size right now because I would immediately buy a spare pair, so I never have to be without these. I have spent too many winters with chilly feet, never again!

I wanted to love these boots but they were wide and felt sloppy . I returned them to the store and tried on several sizes and couldn’t make them work for me.

Great cold weather boots
These are the best boots for cold weather. I've had a pair for over 20 years and finally had to replace them. My feet stay warm and dry. Great for the coldest weather.

Fit not right
Way too small and narrow. Had to send them back. I considered a size larger but don’t enjoy the order and send back process. If I were in store, I might have gotten a pair that fit although I still feel they would have been too narrow. Too bad. Seemed like just the boot I was looking for.

Warm and comfortable
I wore these on a weekend trip in Canada a few days after I got them and walked 22,000 steps one day in 15 degree (Fahrenheit) weather and snow and my feet were warm and comfortable the whole time. I had put insoles in them for additional arch support and I think that helped for my foot shape. I’ve warn them on several winter walks since and I’m very pleased with them.

Bad fit, not made by Bean
The boot was so large that I thought it was mismarked. Great customer service - immediately sent me a 9 to try. Which fits, but is incredibly difficult to get on. Am returning both pairs. During my conversation with customer service (the second time) I found out that these boots - while called Bean boots - are not made by Bean. Am looking through the product description, and see nothing that indicates where they are made. Am not reordering due to fit, but will certainly think twice before ever ordering a pair of "Bean" boots again.
Buyer be-careful.

Most awesome snow boot ever
I’ve had a pair of these boots for a few years now, they are warm and comfortable. Yes they are a bit big and clunky, but they are an awesome boot, and I can drive my truck in them. I wear them often due to the weather in North East Ohio, rain, sleet , snow and mud! I love these boots!

HORRIBLE QUALITY
I am so sad to write this, having been an LL Bean fan my whole life. I have had these boots for exactly 3 weeks, and have worn them running errands and walking the dogs. They fit great and were very comfortable and incredibly warm. After 3 weeks of minimal use, the heel came off. Completely. It was barely glued down and in general the quality of the construction is much lower than their products ever have been. I will be returning them and reconsidering any purchase I make here.

Warm, Rugged, Well-fitting!
Our Iowa winter has been extremely cold, windy, and snowy this year! I scoop all my snow by hand and also walk at least 2 miles daily. I need boots that were warm, rugged, and well- fitting. L.L. Bean snow boots have proved to be just that! Toasty warm, good grip, and plenty of comfortable toe space!

Nice craftsmanship but…
I love the color and craftsmanship of this boot and was really hoping it would work for. I returned it based on the fact that there is no tread on the bottom and would be very slippery on ice in winter and they are quite clunky and heavy. Great for a big snow but I needed something warm for everyday winter.

Nice snowboot with removeable/replaceable liners.
Nice snow boots but too short. I have very narrow feet (men's AA) and so have a time finding narrow footwear. Since very narrow men's are hard to find I tend towards women's narrow. However, most women's footwear max out at women's size 11 (Eur 43) which are on the verge of being too short for me. I returned these because they were a bit too short.

Broke after 1 year.
I bought these boots before I moved to Boston for grad school because I knew the winters could potentially be harsh and I needed good snow boots to wear on my walks to and from my apartment to the studio. I walked a decent amount and because of the weight of the top part of the boot and the natural movement of your foot from walking, the rubber heel would fold on itself and created a crack in the rubber. I couldn't use them in the snow after that because snow would get into the cracks and make my feet damp. And because LL Bean got rid of their lifetime warranty, they've just been stored away and it breaks my heart because I did love these boots. But I do not recommend if you plan on walking a decent amount during the cold season.

Serious boots
These are high quality and very warm, comfortable boots. They are bulky and a bit heavy so don’t plan on using them for long walks or runs to the store with mild weather. These are best for snowy, extra cold weather and outdoor winter activities. They run a little big but extra room for thick socks.
