The softest long-lasting flannel in the widest range of 100% authentic Scottish tartans.
For over 80 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.
- Authentic tartans are yarn-dyed for lasting color.
- Made of high-quality Portuguese cotton flannel, an L.L.Bean exclusive.
- Each color is carefully matched to the historical tartans in the Scottish registry.

Love it but they shrink!!!
My husband loves these flannels! He’s 6’2” & 200lbs and the size tall large (semi-fitted style) fits perfectly. However. I have accidentally put these in the dryer (medium heat) and the arms shrink up making them too short. It’s tragic. Always hang dry!!

Love these. Great price, fit and feel. Put a short sleeve tee under and your set for inside or out. They block wind as well. Cuffs are sized perfectly and sleeve length is perfect.

Shirts arrived on time for the holidays. Material is as described except that one shirt has heavier material than the other which was not mentioned in description. I will use lighter material shirt later in the spring as material weight is too light for winter. Wish I would have known.

This flannel shirt is of the highest quality
I've worn many flannel shirts throughout my life, but this is the best one by far. The fit and finish is superb. I especially like the inner shoulder liner, which provides extra insulation from the cold.
