Nice but not for me
I didn't realize the shirt had elbow patches. The patches are the same material as the shirt. Look odd. - Shirt is oversized. According to the size chart I wear a medium, but medium is too big. 5 ft 8 in. 160 lbs. 32 waist 40 chest. - This is primaily polyester and doesn't reflect a normal "flannel" appearance. It does look good though, and looks like it would wear extremely well and last a long time. And it is heavyweight.

Best flannel shirt I've ever owned!
I love this fitted shirt! Not blousy and not tight. The heavier weight and a little wool provide warmth without overheating. I'm 6 feet tall, 195# and the medium fits perfect! The snap buttons make it easy to get on and off. I wear this untucked and love the look.

The material is nowhere close to flannel. Very disappointing. The colour is not as advertised. I have a dozen flannel shirts of various brands. This is by far the worst example.

My new Favorite
The Katahdin Performance shirt is my new favorite. Quality you would expect, a perfect fit, and a look that kills. This is the shirt for cool fall days all day. My only problem is I live in Nevada and LL Bean does not have any stores outside of Salt Lake City.

As I have previously said, the Katahdin flannel shirts are hands down the best flannel shirt I've ever owned -- and I've owned many! If you're into fluffy and snuggy, that's fine -- but if you want a shirt that's good for any environment and looks outstanding, this is the one to own.

Fits great, many compliments
I purchased a couple of these shirts a few weeks ago and have received many compliments, most asked where I purchased them. Most importantly, I like the fit, appearance, and thus far anyway, the wear of the shirts. They feel well-constructed, I appreciate the snap closure over buttons, the sleeves are loose enough to roll but not so loose that, when rolled, they are loose; the fit is “slightly fitted” as described, and I like the feel of the material, it’s not as soft as a traditional flannel, but is soft enough.

Hurray for snap front closings

This shirt is a lifesaver!
This was one of my husband's favorite shirts. Last night when we were making dinner he backed up too close to the burner of our gas stove. Wow! A big piece of the back of the shirt completely melted and fell off. It did not flame up and start a fire. The shirt is destroyed, but my husband is fine (I'm a little shaken), and there was no fire. Just a shirt with part of the back melted away. Truly astonishing!
