Great gloves
These glove are high quality. I purchased 3 pairs for weekly skiing and daily snow play in New England. My kids say they are very warm and their hands stay dry. My only complaint is that despite measuring my kids' hands and using the size chart, my first order of gloves were too big for each kid. I should have known better since LL Bean tends to run large on my kids. Luckily, I was able to shuffle them between kids and easily swap out the last pair at our local LL Bean store.

Sizing unclear
The sizing Is not clear and impossible to figure out. My seven year old son will be able to wear the size small in about five years. Otherwise they seem like good gloves. Warm, nice color. Thinking about donating to charity. The waterproof gloves are same same way. I won’t purchase gloves online again. Basically I wasted 50 dollars.

Inside glove cuff sneaks under coat sleeve
Love these gloves! I didn't realize that they were for kids. Bought a large size and fits my medium hand perfectly. My hands get cold and these gloves keep me toasty warm. The inside glove cuff "sneaks" under my coat sleeve so there is no bare skin showing. Clever design.

Kids glove review
We have been buying these for our 2 kids for years. Our youngest is 6 and we recently purchased the glove and the mitt. They are warm and east to put on. Both are great and last forever (as long as the kiddos don’t loose them!) we love our LL Bean kids gloves.

Warm gloves, dislike rubbery-plastic palm material
I bought these LLBean Cold Buster Waterproof gloves a long time ago, to use for biking during the winter (low of about 20F). I am an adult but I have small hands so the largest kid size fit me. They were great - kept my hands warm and dry, and held up well to (gentle, i.e., adult, no snowball fights) daily use in winter for several years.
Unfortunately, the "grip-friendly fabric" on the palm is made of the sort of rubbery plastic that degrades after a period of time (polyurethane I'm guessing). I stored the gloves in a closet for a few years while I didn't need them, and when I took them out again, the rubbery fabric had become stiff and cracked, and immediately started flaking off in black, dusty bits. I unpicked the seams to see if I could salvage the glove, since the rest of it (the fleece, the polyester shell, the insulation) was still in great shape, but unfortunately the rubbery-plastic fabric could not be removed from the glove while leaving the glove intact.
I got good value from these gloves, seeing that they performed well for years and are only $25. But I do wish that companies would avoid making their products out of the sort of plastic that degrades easily (or that they would at least not make that plastic part integral to the product). I'm ok with plastic fabrics like polyester and nylon - they don't degrade, they only wear out with use and are very durable. But rubbery polyurethane material degrades, and it makes repair impossible if the glove is put together using that material.

Grandkids Love Them
I have bought these for Christmas for my grandkids for many years. Now that the two oldest girls are 10 & 11 years old they are asking for them, however they don't come in a size XL and they are growing out of the size Large. LL Bean please consider a size XL or if there is a comparable glove in Adult Small please lead me in that direction. Thank You!

Not waterproof
One wear in the recent snow we got and the gloves are wet after about an hour outside. We have the same cold buster mittens, he wore those the next day as they gloves still weren’t dry. One wear in the snow and those are wet too, and taking a long time to dry. Definitely not waterproof so I’m not sure why they are advertising that they are.

Purchased 2 pairs of these gloves for my sons and they are definitely not waterproof. So frustrating when you pay more for "quality waterproof" gloves and your children come in crying after playing in the snow because of frozen fingers and sopping wet gloves!

So disappointed to discover that these are not at ALL waterproof. We purchased these gloves for my son, and the same "cold buster waterproof" mittens-version for my daughter. Neither are waterproof. They've just come in from a day of skiing with frozen fingers and sopping wet gloves/mittens. Very frustrating.

I read reviews. Since the name of the product is “cold buster”, I had high hopes from llbean. It did not keep my sons hands warm in the mountains. It was waterproof, but I also sprayed scotch guard for sure measure.

Kids Coldbuster Waterproif Gloves
Christmas present for my 8 year old grandson. Fit just s little too big in fingers but liked that because gives room for comfort. Actually, true to fit. Very well made, thick but not cumbersome, adjustable wrists, excellent material. Have not got to use yet here in East Tennessee but hoping for some snow the end of January so he can put these to the test.
Would definitely recommend this item. Love LL Bean.

Good solid winter kids gloves
I bought these gloves for my 11 year old grandson in a size large. He is rather small so may not fit a large child the same way. He loves them. They are very warm and can be tightened around the wrist to keep out cold wind and wettness. Only mittens could be warmer.
