Everything about these pants is sweat pants. Even the pockets are of the same stretchy cloth. They are not made of denim you expect in blue jeans.

Disappointed in quality and fit
I have been wearing these LL Bean jeans for several years. I ordered a pair each of indigo and black in my last order. The fabric in these was thin and cheap, not the usual rugged denim that I'm used to. Sizing was also off--one fit, the other was too tight despite having ordered the same size for both. They are going back.

A mixed bag!
Mixed feelings! The description of these pants is accurate, although the denim surface is strangely scratchy. Personally, I love that they have pockets, but dislike how baggy they are. I wore out my old pair, which fit a lot better (slim fit?) but had no pockets.

Perfect fit, PERFECT jeans!
I wear nothing but these jeans! Recently lost weight so had to get a smaller size, but have owned these for years and are still perfect! I just put them away for if I gain weight. They are the most comfy jeans I have ever owned in my life. You wash and dry them and they always maintain their shape! They are my go to jeans when I need new ones, always!

Fabric is disappointing.
I was disappointed with the fabric, it wasn’t a good quality. It picks up lint etc. ..it has a rough texture, hot smooth like denim.

Stretchy! Sturdy!
These are roomy and well-made. On the side pockets (keys and dog biscuits won't fall out), no pockets on the backside. Easy to wash and dry. Nice to wear out and about, or doing chores at home, but I think I am going to keep them for "casual/nice".

The waist is extremely tight yet the rest of the pants fit well. It seems the elastic was cut too short since there is sufficient fabric to stretch. I will make an adjustment to that. I wish I didn't have to cut in to a new pair of pants. Would I recommend buy larger? I would say use your judgement. Otherwise they seem a nice quality. I gave 3 stars for needing adjustment in the waist and hemming

It is sooooo hard to find pants in petite that actually fit but I can always depend on LL Bean Perfect Fit pants (in both knit and denim) to fit just right. They do run large though. I wear a petite small.
