Ultrasoft Flannel Sheets are the best!

Comfy but need to re-engineer pillow design
1. Softness = 4 stars - sheets are very soft and comfy
2. Wash & wear = 3 stars - they came out quite wrinkled from the dryer - not sure if this can be fixed given the fabric is flannel
3. Size (Pillow cases) = 1 star - Pillow case design needs to be addressed - cases are too small. It's a struggle to get my king pillows into the cases - they need to be wider to accommodate todays larger pillows

Sleeping in comfort
I finally put these on our bed yesterday and wish I hadn’t procrastinated as long as I did. I was worried after I bought them that they would be too hot. Not the case. I’m got a good night of sleep and was cool enough to fall and then stay asleep. The sheets are very soft and comfortable. I purchased the Mariner Blue sheets which are darker than I expected, but not an issue.

Best Flannel Sheets on earth.
Here in New England flannel sheets are worth their weight in GOLD! Well, these are the GOLD standard and they aren't heavy. PERFECT, is the best word to describe them!

Disappointed
The good part— Flannel made in Portugal is very good, I have LL Bean Flannel shirts from there and they are great! The bad part— you have not kept up with your competitors the fitted bottom sheet does not tuck in on the sides of mattress, you have lengthened the corners to 15 inches, the top sheet doesn’t have a lot of length to tuck in. I think some of the problems are mattresses are larger than they use to be and you haven’t kept up. I have been a customer for fifty years, so this was rather disappointing to spend extra for flannel sheets that don’t fit properly.

All LL Flannel Sheets and now California Kings
These were given as a Christmas gift to our daughter and her husband. They have a California King bed and sheets can be hard to find,especially good sheets. We say them on in LL's catalog and web site and knew these would be our gift to them. They raved about them and couldn't believe how soft and warm they were. Being in her mid-30s she has evidently forgotten all the sheets she slept on while at home were from LL Bean. Their flannels and regular sheets are THE BEST....

First allergic reaction of my life
I got the Mariner Blue sheets. The color is an awesome deep rich blue, and the material feels like great quality flannel. However I was pretty itchy after my first night in them, and after night two I started getting these awful hives. I've never been allergic to anything in my life before. I bet it's the dye or something.
And I did wash them before I used them.

Oh, thou great sheet set
Thee has brought me what i so longed for over the long, lonely years. When first I saw thee, the Silver Sage color was so soothing to my eyes. But then thee gave me the gift of sheets so soft and thick I thought i might be in Heaven. But pure rapture was mine when thee displayed hems that remained flat, even after washing. Never did I hope to see in this lifetime the hems of my youth. Oh dear reader, some of you may remember the time when all clothing and linens had hems that did not curl, twist, or when even a hot iron could not tame them. But thou dear sheet set, has restored my faith in humanity and where folding a sheet will no longer be wasted effort.

Soft, high quality sheet set
This sheet set is surprisingly soft after just a single wash. The sheet fits my queen size tempurpedic mattress perfectly. The flat sheet is a little short around the sides in my opinion, but the fit and finish is high quality. Overall I am really happy with this purchase.
