Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maine hunting shoe. Insulated These boots are very comfortable and warm. I ordered my regular size at first as recommended with the insulated boots. However, they were still too big so I exchanged them for the next size down and they fit perfectly. I’m from Texas so thick socks aren’t really necessary, especially with these boots being insulated. Would definitely recommend these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots I have had these for several years and I love them. I had an old pair of the regular insulated/Gore-Tex boots which I gave to my son. I bought these and like them more than the older pair. I hunt in Southeast Georgia river swamps, so it is not terribly cold very often. These are warm and dry. You can walk in them all day long like all Bean boots. Because of the Thinsulate and thick socks they fit a little more true to size for me. I am 63 and have been wearing Bean boots since I was a teenager mail ordering from the catalog. These will last me forever, since I do not have to wear them often because of our mild temperatures down here. I do put some Snow Seal on them every few years. I put Snow Seal on all of my Bean boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable shoes I’ve ever put on!! My feet were hurting after walking just a little bit in the other snow boots I had just bought from another reputable band and my wife wanted to go to the L.L. Bean store since we are up in Maine for the first time so I went with her and got a pair for myself as well and let me tell your these things are so comfortable it’s like little wombs for my feet they are so warm and cozy it’s like my feet were never born I started loosing sleep at night because I can’t wait to get up and put my boots on they are super water proof so please feel free to try them out in the shower (use discretion and water may fill in from the top) I walked up and down the beach in them in and out of the water and my feet stayed warm and dry the entire time I have not hunted in the yet so I cannot speak to the hunting ability of the boot but it says they are made for that so I look forward to putting that claim to the test I have noticed that they are also very quiet to walk in I did try sneaking up to a seal and was able to get very close before discovering it was a large stone so in conclusion if you wanna run faster jump higher sneak sneakier and crush cans like a man these are the boots for you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Built to last. Only have worn a couple of times. Still evaluating the size/fit. Quality seems to be superb. I have no doubt that given the infrequent times they will be worn, they will last a lifetime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Boots These are excellent boots, I've just bought my second pair and worn them for a month now, they are just as good as my first pair ( which I've worn for 6 years and still have ) good quality leather, nice rubber bottoms and warm without all the bulk of some other boots, they are also comfortable as I wear them sometimes for many hours on end, I also like that they are made in the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot for moderate cold days. I bought these boots for bow season in western New York to have something on the days that weren’t too cold. I found that I could sit for four or five hours on days that were 35* and warmer. If I was walking around they were good for temperatures in the teens. They do a great job of keeping my feet dry too. The liner is part of the boot so you never have to worry about it pulling out when you take them off. Highly recommend the boot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pheasant hunting heaven. Should be called cloud w There’s a reason they’ve been making this product this long g and it’s been recommended so often. Embarrassingly these are my first pair but I’m delighted. They will be my go to pheasant boot from here on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maine hunting shoe I bought them for hunting. Had a pair when I was a kid . I like how quiet they are in the woods and they fit well but my feet get cold easy and there just as cold as I remember them being.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Each pair lasts me for about 10 years. I have been wearing this specific boot on my farm for years. Each pair lasts me about 10 years, then I get another pair. I've been doing this for several decades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Fit, Comfortable & Water Tight The Maine Hunting Shoes fit better than my original Signature Bean Boots. The leather uppers absorbed the Huberd's Shoe Grease well and completely repel water. They are a bit pricey, but they worked well for my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Forever! These Boots have lasted more than 10 years now! Only thing to ask for is a new set of pads form ll Bean and some extra boot laces, they even come in different colors just for you. The Snow Blower likes them too! who knows with a little help from some Boot Guard they could out last the company!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great hunting boot These boots will last for ever and keep your feet dry. I done a lot of coon, deer and bear hunting in them and have owned several pairs. My feet measured 11-1/2 so I went with 11. They still seem a little loose. I wear two pairs of socks and tuck my pants in.. and the laces almost pull the leather together. I attached a picture. Llbean is a great company. Onetime they even put new soles on a pair I had.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too narrow Bough these boots thinking I could put a pair or two of heavy socks on to hunt since I hunt in a stand for hours at a time. I bought a size larger to accommodate for the socks. There was only enough room for a normal sock. Not acceptable for me and way too narrow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Women's foot- Men's boot I am a woman that wears size 9.5 women's in all my shoes. I always buy shoes that have a more natural shape toebox. Because of that I find a lot of women's winter boots on the narrow side. I bought these men's sz 8 in d width. I think they are just a little long. Width is good. I have a low volume foot so there is extra room above my foot. However, room equals warmth. I find them toasty. Perhaps a beefier innersole will resolve. Great for snow blowing or shoveling. A bit too clunky for general walking with that extra space. Great quality shoe. Expect to get many yrs use. Would loved to have bought/ tried both 7's n 8's, but that is expensive and returns get complicated that way as I wanted to apply my Bean bucks to only the pair I was keeping. Not split it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Size Down? What? The boot is fine. They tell you to size down one to one and a half sizes. This is ridiculous. I followed their suggestion, I sized down from 9.5 to 8. And when the boot showed up it felt like trying to put a boot on that was 1.5 sizes too small. Unbelievable. I mean I am baffled by the utter ridiculousness of this. Too beside myself to bother repackaging, reboxing and shipping it back. It's just stupid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Boot! I purchased this boot for hunting/hiking in Northeast Minnesota. It is extremely light, waterproof and very comfortable to wear. Customer service was outstanding when I called with questions regarding size. I normally wear a 10.5 shoe and Size 11 winter boot (sorels etc). I was advised to order a size 10 and it fit perfect. So order one size down from your winter boot. Boots are very well made and held up well this fall as I put 15 miles on them (at least) through the brush and swamps. Boots are very warm, but not a boot you would wear for a cold morning sit in a deer stand. HIGHLY Recommend this boot - Great job LL Bean! Very pleased with your products and service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots These boots are super! I take size 9.5 so I ordered 9 as recommended. With Bean’s heavy socks, they fit perfectly. They are comfortable, warm, and have good support. I added a coat of Bean’s boot guard for added weather protection. I highly recommend these. Maine’s motto is “The way life should be”. Perhaps LL Bean’s motto should be “The way boots should be made”.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Upland Boot I bought these 10 years ago to primarily hunt upland game. They are truly the most comfortable and dry boot that I have worn. In February 2020 I sent them in to be resoled and a new set of liners added, what an impressive job! I received them back with new rubber bottoms, new removable liners, new removable foot cushions and new laces. They are like brand new boots with broken-in leather uppers. I also utilize the LL Bean sherpa foot liners for colder weather, they are a real game changer in the colder weather/snow. There is not one thing negative that I could say about these and I have recommended them to others.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sloppy fit No arch support I purchased these boots to replace rubber boots and I’m not happy with them They have no arch support and have a very sloppy fit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Hunting Boot I splurged on this hunting boot. I own the traditional LL Bean boots. This boot by comparison seems to have softer and more supple leather. The bottom and shank feel more like a moccasin and has a softer and quieter feel in the step. Even though it feels good, it is very durable. Used them first on a three-day pheasant hunting trip in South Dakota and loved them.
