Advice if you're busty
It looks good, but the halter strap is a bit annoying on my neck. I am busty and the front is more low cut than I realized when ordering. I sewed a modesty panel into it

Really wanted this bathing suit to fit
I loved the color and the style but the skirted bottom was too tight with the halter top fitting perfect in size 12. I exchanged it for size 14 then the top was too big and the skirted bottom was still snug. Wish the bottom part was a little less fitted as I really loved the color and style.

Great at the beach
This suit was very comfortable for sitting and walking on the beach. It was early in the season and so I did not swim. I am very short waisted and have a problem with fit around my torso. This one did nicely.

too low, halter too long
i loved this swimsuit, i very very much wish it had worked out, but the front is WAY too low cut and the strap(s) for the halter are too long - so it makes the low cut front even worse. other than that, it really is perfect IMO -- perhaps a great find for someone with a longer torso than me.

What a relief
So, there I was , a fit-enough 55 year old, in need of a swimsuit. I wanted to NOT look ridiculous and I wanted to be fairly modest. I ordered several suits from 3 different places and this was the clear winner. The size 8 also fit but I went with a 10 because it caused a little less squish-out. The halter doesn't pull on my neck and the skirt nicely covers down south. I like the flattering fit across my belly. It was an unexpected happy ending to the most stressful kind of search and purchase.

I'm not a large person. I bought the size 8 and the 10 hoping one would be better than the other. Usually I'm a solid M (or 10) but both these suits were too small. Very, very difficult to just pull on and not really flattering either. At 65 I was hoping for a little skirt action, but this isn't the suit that will work for me.

Skimpy Halter Straps
Not enough give on halter straps if you have a fuller bustline. Limited ability to adjust strap. Was able to purchase a suit at Target with MUCH wider straps for support around the shoulders and chest. L.L. Bean suit, nice material. Well sewn. Was not apparent from online representation of bathing suit, that the straps were not really adjustable! A little too pricey as a result.

Great slimming suit
This is a great swimsuit. Forgiving. Slimming. Beautiful fabric and print. (I purchased the blue cobalt vines.) I’m an older woman who is carrying extra weight. This suit makes me feel comfortable, presentable, and attractive. I can focus on swimming and socializing, rather than worrying about whether I am exposing a little too much. I highly recommend it.

Comfortable, attractive, well-made
I ordered this suit from LLBean because they have the option of a longer suit. This fit great and was a good length for my body. Very comfortable and well-made. The color "Cobalt Vines" is very pretty. Just like the photo. Because of my age and body type, I would have liked to have more breast support, but this does not effect my rating. It was a great purchase!

First suit i didn't like. Other suits more true to size and look a lot better. Top smaller than others. Thinking someone with a longer torso would like it and probably go up a size larger. But great fabric. Returned.

Beautiful colors, but saggy in front. Has a thick net lining that in LLBean’s words has a. Compressive effect. Feels like a very tight girdle. I returned. I am 81 and simply wanted a bathing suit to swim in.

My 2021 beach swimsuit
Can’t wait to wear this for family beach week. It’s well made, slimming and suits my preferences for comfort and coverage. In clothes I usually wear 4-6, often petite, but the 8 in a swimsuit works just fine.

Lovely style, feels elegant!
Based on reviews, I decided to try ordering a Long torso suit size 10, even though I'm 5'5". It fits just right. One piece suits are far more comfortable when I don't have to tug a suit up at the bust or the leg openings down so they don't pinch. The teal blue watercolor is incredibly pretty. My weight is about 130 lbs. and bust is 36B/C, and this suit provides adequate support without feeling tight.

Flattering fit!
I've gained weight lately, so I was not looking forward to shopping for a bathing suit -- and less so actually wearing one! But this LL Bean suit provides a flattering fit. I purchased the size 14. It lays nicely on my sides; my tummy is actually a bit hidden, and the skirt portion falls nicely just below my hips. I felt very comfortable wearing this suit, while river tubing and splashing around in a creek. The front is a deeper cut than I am used to. But, it still fit nicely in the front. It kept it's shape while swimming, and washed nicely. Highly recommend!

Beautiful colors, fits well, very comfortable
I am an older woman, who is slender and fit, who wanted a modest, attractive, swimsuit that I would feel comfortable with on the Beach or by the Pool. This suit is very becoming, with gorgeous colors, that enhances my figure. I think this swimsuit would look good on a woman of any age. Even though it is one piece, it is flattering to the figure and I feel good wearing it. I would definitely recommend it. The material is beautiful and of high quality. I am slim and probably would have gone with a smaller size if offered. However, I was able to adjust the neck straps, making for a very comfortable fit. I am happy with my purchase.

Nice suit
I really like this suit and the fit is great. I debated between the regular and long and chose the regular. I'm glad I did because the long would have been too long. The regular is a tad longer than the BeanSport skirted bottom of which I've purchased several times. I like the gathers on the side seams which makes for a flattering look if you have a bit of a tummy. The skirt part flares out a little in a cute and flattering way. I'm a 36B, a little wide in the waist and narrow in the hips. I can see it could be a little revealing for a person with a large bust but works very well with a B cup. I'm very pleased and think it's a perfect suit for a 65 year old woman who still enjoys a regular swim.
