Incredibly practical, versatile and stylish
This base layer is amazing! It’s warm enough to keep my teenagers snug out in the cold underneath winter jackets without hassling them to put additional layers on and it’s stylish enough that both of my teens wear this as a regular shirt…and it totally works!

Warm and comfortable underwear
Basic layer that works perfect keeping you worm when you are passive, and no less good for cold weather activities. My son slept in a sleeping bag in a tent covered with snow in this underwear and for three months already he uses it as a first layer to skin when we ran outside, with record low -6F and 90 min at this temperature. It keeps him warm and dry. And as a running gear, this top often goes into the wash machine and survived many cycles well. I used many kinds of expensive heavy underwear from famous producers and different less known and cheaper stuff, and I may say this one is among the best, I would recommend anyone

Warm and comfortable baselayer
Bought for my son who overgrown his heavyweight Polartec baselayer. This top from LLBean seemed to be thinner, but it came out it is really warm, fast drying and comfortable. Very good winter gear. He runs every second day in any weather, and he uses this baselayer for his winter running. It hepls to reduce number of layers one has to put on when temperatures are below 20F :)
And it survives washing machine well

Nice product, way too small
Ordered the L 14-16 for a 10 year old boy, weighs 90 lbs. The product is what we were looking for (active, base layer, no hood), but it was WAY too small. We're going to try the XL 18. Consider ordering 2 sizes larger than you think you normally would.

Wonderful, Comfy, Warm!
Bought these for all 3 of my granddaughters two years ago for Christmas. Bought a size 10-12 for 2 of the girls, now back to buy a size 14 for one of them who now weights just under 90 pounds. Two of the girls are very picky with how their clothes feel. The one that needs a bigger size requested the same Long Johns. They do a lot of outdoor activities, including ice fishing. She is also sold on the LL Bean winter waterproof gloves, only ones she'll wear.

ski base layer
My child is small for her size but 4 is the smallest size offered. It was a little big but worked just fine. She never complained of being cold and this was her only layer under snow pants and coat in high 20s.

Repeat customer
My son is a Boy Scout and goes camping in the cold weather. He won’t leave home without his long underwear. He loves these. They are warm but also breathable. He outgrew last years so I purchased the same set again this year In a bigger size. Too bad the largest size is an 18.

Hockey Kid!
I bought the blue for my son to wear at hockey. It keeps him warm, looks great and washes well! I came back on the site to get another color....I'll have to stay with another blue. Would love more boy color options! Highly recommend.

Long underwear
These are warm, but the sizing is off. Order the next size up. XL is too small for my 13-year-old (120 lbs.).

cozy and comfy
We purchased this set for my son to wear on a January overnight camping expedition with the Boy Scouts here in PA. They are so cozy and comfy that he frequently wears them as pajamas, too. The length and size was perfect. They are well made and wash well. I would definitely recommend both the top and the bottom.

Great cold weather gear!
Bought this as a base layer to keep my grandson warm when skiing Colorado in low temperatures. They were so soft and comfy that he wanted to be cozied up in them before/after skiing. Fit is accurate. Wash well.

They won't stop wearing them
Have not tested on the ski hills. But first snow fall. It's 20 degrees out and the kids are happy. Sledding and snow angels and snow ball fights are on. Not sure if these are lighter weight than previous years as I did not buy them before. They are super comfy, soft and stretchy. No tight death grips anywhere. I have one tall skinny kid,and another thicker stout son. They fit great ordering normal size. Will be loading up on these soon.

6" too short
This x weight top looks and feels great.
Too bad it's about 6" too short in body length.
I ordered a L (6x7) based on LLB's size chart.

kids long underwear
My grandchildren love their new long underwear. One child has sensitive skin and he doesn't want to take them off because he says they are very comfortable. These kids play outdoors all the time and they are plenty warm. The only problem was that I could not get all of them outfitted, as they were all out of some sizes.
