Overall nice set but quality slightly lacking
Overall nice set. Like the wooden and metal game pieces. The game board could have been a little nicer. Would have liked to see metal used as spacing between the boxes on the scrabble board and not plastic. Board material itself also felt a little cheap given the price.

I fell in love with this game set as soon as I saw it.
Unfortunately, we returned it. I had read a review that send the turntable moves too easily. That was true, it was nearly impossible to make a play without the board spinning and disrupting placement of the playing pieces.

It's beautiful!! Haven't played it yet, but the look of it is gorgeous and feels like it's made from quality wood. I got it for my husband for our 5 year wedding anniversary, and with his 2 favorite games being scrabble and monopoly he was impressed with the quality of the game faces.

Beautiful and Unique Game Board
Beautiful and unique game board! Love having L.L.Bean specific monopoly game pieces that include a moose, hiking boot, lantern, and canoe. The handsomely stained board is on a lazy-susan style base, which is vey convenient when playing scrabble. The interior of the board is well thought out and provides a place to store all the monopoly and scrabble pieces.

Poor Craftsmanship
The stain on the lower tray was off when I received it. Poor craftsmanship, rubber stopper on lazy Susan came off. Only used twice…very unhappy ☹️

Wood quality is poor
Box came badly wrapped and dirty, wood has minor scratches and chips, board top face has some dents, and the engraved metal is slightly off center. It’s a nice looking board and looks great, but the quality is not substantial especially considering the price.

Excellent product plagued by cosmetic issues
The set deserves 5/5 if it looked as good as shown in the pictures. In reality, the product build is very good and the set feels high quality. Unfortunately for me, there was an 1" piece of wood that was chipped on the outside and there were a couple of black marks/stains around the center portion where 'Monopoly' is written. Another gripe was the plaque which had some characters removed at the end. This was not notified to me at the time of order.

Efficient packaging
The product looks great although, for the money, the workmanship should have been perfect. Some of the wood separations were loose upon arrival. For this reason I rated the game a 4 star.
I love how all the pieces fit neatly under the game board. Finally, someone included an organizer for the bank...how about one for the deeds too? That would be over the top! The turntable is a nice touch too, although I like to keep the Monopoly game stationary...my wife kept spinning it and I kept getting confused (operator issues). Perfect for Scrabble though.

Nostalgic and Fun!
In 2020, we (me and hubby) have been spending a lot of time at home. Most of the board games we have are not necessarily great looking and I often feel like I need to clean up after we are done playing.
This Deluxe Scrabble really seamlessly blends into the room decor and just adds to the overall spirit of the room. I am so happy with all the details and player pieces.
Why 4 stars? The one thing I did not like was the way our family name was etched. There is an upcharge for the etching ~$8. I specifically typed it up in ALL CAPS but when the product was delivered they hadn't followed my request. This is why I am giving this product a 4.

Amazing quality
I bought this for myself this summer and was so pleased with it that I purchased three more as Christmas gifts. I find it practical because it will last forever and minimizes space(given both games). It's also just lovely quality. I was excited to give it my nieces and nephews and thought of all the memories they'd make with it for years to come! Nice job, LL Bean!

Great Presentation
We have a deluxe version of Scrabble & Monopoly but liked the 2 in 1 of this, saves closet space. The one thing I did notice is that the board size & scrabble tiles are smaller than the regular editions of each game. Also the Scrabble tiles are very light compared to the regular board game we have. Not a deal breaker though.

Amazing!
Gave this is a gift, the customized name-plate was an amazing touch. The board is very sturdy, and the scrabble side has elevated edges to hold tiles in place. Game piece storage on the inside is extremely well designed to avoid jumbling of pieces, instructions, monopoly money, etc. during storage. Couldn't be happier with this product.

This is all it describes and more! Was our white elephant gift and everyone wanted it! Including my husband and I!! We didn't get it. :(
