This is probably the thinnest cashmere sweater I’ve received from LLBean and I’ve been buying 1-2 a year for 10 years. There’s a little less coverage every year as well, but it’s still within the right size.

The medium fit beautiful, and the burgundy/red color is also very nice. I have not worn it for any occasion yet. The sleeves are just long enough, and this can be a problem because I have short arms.

Soft Cashmere Sweater in Night Purple
This sweater upped my look with a russet blazer and faded copper jeans with boots. The cashmere is substantial and soft. Cozy while dressed up. I DID order a petite small even though I am 5’5” with long thin arms but I prefer my sweaters to fall at the waistband of my pants or be tucked in so I don’t like a lot of extra sweater right there. Love the seater though!

Disappointed
I purchased two of these cashmere sweaters. Ordered my usual size Small, but it was tight, returned it and sized up to a Petite Medium, which fit well. The sweaters are soft and the colors are beautiful. However, after two months both of the sweaters are ready for retirement. They pill with each wearing, on the seams, under the arms and across the whole front, requiring a treatment with a sweater shaver after each time. I have other cashmere sweaters that do not pill. I am disappointed with the quality of these sweaters for the price.

Classic Cashmere Cardigan
The classic cashmere cardigan is a beautiful pullover. It is soft and well made. I appreciate all the colors that this style was offered in. I ordered the dark green. I am always chilly, so I consider cashmere sweaters to be midweight warmth. I always need to layer up underneath them. I'm sure others would find it to be very comfortable without needing to layer up. The fit is very nice -- not too tight and fitted and not slouchy-baggy. It's a classic!

Pilled badly after one wearing
Cashmere sweater is a great color and petite size fits well, but after one wearing it pilled so badly I needed to use a sweater comb to remove them. I own several cashmere sweaters from LL Bean and the quality of this one just doesn’t compare unfortunately.

warm and comfy
This sweater fits beautifully. It skims my body so not too slim nor too loose. I got the tall because I wanted the sleeves to be long enough and they’re perfect covering my wrists but not my entire hand. The cashmere is a nice weight, no seeing through the fabric. I got the raspberry color and love it. It’s warm and so comfortable I will wear it like a t-shirt. I’m not saving it for special occasions.
