Better than Jeans
The pants really fit the bill for me. The fit was fantastic with the slight stretch in the fabric to ease some areas of the body. The inseam is a little shorter than some pants. That said, they fit closer so the seam is not rubbing between the legs. The weight of the fabric used is perfect for warmer days when you need long pants but good for cool nights. It almost feels like you have on nothing at all. That's how comfortable they are. Consequently, I bought all the colors!

Perfect hiking pants for warmer weather.
These pants are extremely comfortable. I’m 5’4” 137 I purchased a size 12 which is a bit big. A 10 was too fitted for comfortable movement. Lots of pockets and very light weight. The most comfortable pants I have ever worn.

Love these pants
These are the perfect summer pants for me. Light weight, very comfortable and with lots of pockets with zippers. They can be rolled up and buttoned to capris length too.
I have 4 pair and I wear them as my go to casual pants.

Great Travel Pants
I bought these for travel in the US and abroad. They are durable, lightweight, and fit perfectly. I may order another pair prior to traveling to Europe!

Supersize me!
Nice pants but way too big! I think LLBean has changed their sizing to make people think they take a smaller size than they really do. And these pants stretch out as well when worn. But nice fabric and good pockets.

These look great after multiple wearings.
The fit is great. The fabric is thinner than before, but seems to hold up well.

I own several pairs of these pants
Terrific protection in hot weather. Easy to wash. But fabric can catch on rough surfaces.

Great travel pant
Normally LLBean pants are too short for me so I was thrilled to see the 33 inch inseam. Hurray!!!!
Bought these pants for vacation and they did not disappoint. Pack to practically nothing and wrinkles hang right out. Not too warm for humid conditions and tbey dried quickly when it rained.
I'm 5'7", 150 lbs, ordered size10 with 33 inch inseam.
Very pleased with this purchase.

So well made!
I have owned at least six pairs of these pants. I purchased two pairs originally for hiking and now they are the only pants I wear unless I am dressing up. I roll the legs up a little in the heat and wear long underwear in the cold weather - perfect for me. They are unusually well made, and they have held up well after literally dozens of washings. The zippers are reliable and sturdy as are the belt loops. I hesitated to buy any at first because of the price but I am very glad I bought them. My only caution is that the size I ordered most recently (medium/tall 18) runs quite large.

Great pant for traveling
Love these pants. I feel that they are a little over-priced, but I feel that way about most things these days! I wore these multiple days on a 10 day trip to Ireland and they were great rain and shine.

Disappointed
Disappointed in the material of these pants -- fabric doesn't breathe well, very clingy so wouldn't want to put anything substantial in the zippered pocket -- fit is extra roomy. Zipper has trouble staying up.

Good pants
The pants fit fine, are lightweight, and the zipper pockets fit the iPhone 15 with case and pop socket. The only issue I have is with the hand pockets—they’re pretty shallow.

Need TWO buttons per pant leg!!!
I purchased these pants years ago and love them EXCEPT they only give one button per pant leg to secure the pant legs when rolled up. The pictures show they still do this. It makes no sense; both sides need to be secured when rolled up or they start unrollling, especially when they get wet. I had to get the mountain pants instead because those pant legs can be secured on each side. Those are fine pants but I prefer the Vista. Vista are outdoor pants - they are going to get wet and need to be secured better. TWO BUTTONS PER LEG, PLEASE!

Love these pants!
My third pair. I’m 158 pounds, 5 feet tall and size 10 petite fits perfectly, even though I’d normally wear a 12-14. Not too long. Lightweight and several pockets, perfect for hiking and tai chi.

I Love These Pants! Especially the New M/T Length!
Very Very VERY happy with the new available m/tall length! Thank you, LL Bean. I am 5-7 1/2 and wear a size 10 -- this is the perfect pair of pants for dressing up or wearing to do gardening or outside work. I have one pair I save for working in the field as a citizen scientist collecting dragonfly data in wetlands ---that pair gets hard use, and always looks good after a wash. I also wear these pants kayaking -- they are lightweight and dry quickly. Breathable, easy to wash, easy to pack, great for travel. I have three other pairs of these pants (shorter length because the longer wasn't available then) and I roll them up and down as the occasion calls for. Love the pockets. Expensive, but worth it! Please offer some new colors! Navy?

great pants !
love these pants. I wear them to work. When I'm outside they seem to work well on the hot days but offer protection on the cooler day. They also dry really quickly if you get caught in the rain. They seem quite durable and are comfortable.

Consider the pockets
These pants fit well and are comfortable; the fabric is light, stretchy, and dries quickly. But like my other recent styles of LLBean hiking pants, the cut is unflattering for any one with hips. The top opening for the side pocket is wide and too big relative to the depth. My phone falls out if I sit on the floor. I bought these because they, at least, don't have elastic on the waist band across the top of the pocket.

Pilled quickly
I bought these and the Mountainside pants at the same time, and these were a disappointment. They pilled almost immediately and look pretty shabby compared to the Mountainside pants, which still look brand new and have much nicer fabric.

Great fit and can where anywhere. I just traveled with these pants and was impressed with how comfortable they are. Enjoyed all the pockets! Wore them as dress pants as well as hiking - versatile style.

Fabric too fragile
The fabric is far too thin and fragile. Wore these inside and for walks in town. The crotch area pilled and the side pocket tore through the fabric carrying a small cell phone.
This is the first L.L. Bean product I have been unhappy with.

Too long for a Petite
As a 5'1" person, I was excited to see LLBean has petite inseams. However, these pants were still too long. Only way they would work is if I always had the tabs rolled up which defeats the purpose of being able to vary the height of the pants. The waist and hips fit well but the legs were very baggy. I have found with the various LLBean pants I tried that they seem more suited to hourglass or pear shapes rather than my apple shape.

Live in Pants
Went to Yellowstone - luckily I bought a blue and black pair of pants. Wore these pants on the plane all over the park and home again. Our lodge in Yellowstone had laundry facilities - washed and dried them came out perfect. On hot or cold days they were perfect. Put on a nice top to go to dinner.
