Our classic casual coat is easy to move in and layer under. With little touches like inverted pleats and buttoned patch pockets it's no surprise this coat continues to be a customer favorite, year after year. Inspired by our iconic Field Coat (originally named Maine Duck Hunting Coat), first introduced in 1924.

Runs Large
I absolutley love this coat, good quality and nice detail. I am a small in most everything and purchased the small and its just too big. Sleeves, body of coat just hangs on me. Unfortunately the x-small is sold out. Recommend the product just size down.

This is the perfect coat for fall. Lightweight, yet warm. Easily layers over a heavier sweater. I ordered the petite small and am glad I did. I would say this runs a bit large.

Love this jacket!
Great jacket for cool days! Bought this for my daughter. She loves it! She was right in the middle of needing a regular vs a petite. I honestly think either would have been fine. The petite isn't quite as long but fits well.

Can't believe I waited this long to buy...
I've been looking for something like this for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger. Sturdy. Well made. Perfect for those late fall/ early winter days when you need solid coverage from working outside in raw weather. It's cut a little bigger to accommodate a hefty sweatshirt. Pockets are bigger to accommodate treats or tools or to stash gloves. Sleeves are a little longer to allow wrist coverage or roll-up to keep dry. Both style and substance but thankfully, heavier on the substance. This coat is awesome.

This coat is perfect weight wise. However, the pockets are too shallow. Not hand friendly, not phone friendly. I have an older version and the pockets are wonderful.
Should I have ordered a Man's jacket to get the needed pocket room?

Great Barn Coat. Fits great. Looks great!
Love this Barn Coat! Fits great. Good for moderate temperatures. It’s not as warm as I thought it might be but works great as I live in the south. So happy it comes in plus sizes. I am on the heavier side and got a 2x. I’m also small in stature and the sleeves easily fold back on the cuffs so it’s not too long for me.

Best coat I ever owned
I purchased this coat 7 years ago , then it was offered in an thinsulated version also. That is the one I own and it is the perfect coat. I have wore it out and still wear it to work on my farm. It repels rain, looks great and is easy to wash. It would be fantastic if the thinsulated version was an option again for next year, love the light weight and warmth of it especially when working outside or at the game. It is a great investment, get both colors!

Liking the Barn Coat
I really like that the pockets are like how they used to be at a more comfortable level, plus things are not falling out of the pocket.
I wear this coat a lot & when it's colder plenty of room to wear a sweatshirt underneath.i would like to see the shade of a light sage , that I had several years ago,

Size 1X is long enough & room for a sweater
I love this jacket. It's warm enough to wear through the winter and comfortable, too. My only gripe (and I should have thought of this) is that the lining of the body of the jacket is flannel, so I'm having a bit of trouble with a broken shoulder sliding my arm into the sleeve. The sleeves are appropriately slippery, though, so it's just a little gripe. Overall, I am very pleased I bought this jacket.

Terrific looking
It's a wonderful looking jacket. It does run very big and it's much too big for me, but my husband loves it and it looks great on him and the weight is perfect for southern California early winter night weather.

Love everything about this coat except it’s very oversized. Order a size down from your normal. I originally ordered a medium so I could layer it. It was huge! I returned it for a small, it’s still very large and roomy. The XS has been sold out unfortunately. I wish they included the size the models are wearing in the description.

Not really cut for petites
The shoulders were too broad and the sleeves were too long for a petite. I had to double check that I had really a petite in my hands and not a regular. Otherwise the jacket is really cute but cut for broad shoulders and slim waist. Would not recommend for a petite.

Perfect 3 season coat for Michigan!
This is my second Adirondack coat I have bought! Love it for its looks and fit. The flannel lining makes it a 3 season coat in Michigan. I’m 5’4, 135lbs and I purchased size large with plenty of room for layering !

Love it.
Love it. Stylish. Have gotten lots of compliments. I ital.y purchased small by mistake. Bought the large too big ( my usually is lg) so then I bought the medium…across the shoulders its perfect with bulky sweater etc. bit roomier around the middle and for petit the arms are bit long. Everything else is great. Love the lined arms!
