Very disappointed
I have been wearing the Chamois cloth shirts for many years and they have been superb. I am very disappointed in the fuzzy fabric and big buttons. I am sad to have to accept this for version.

Warm and cozy.
Comfortable and soft and among our favorites. The quality is better than recent purchases at Beans. Have noticed that the former top quality of many Bean products has been decreasing.

Raise price if necessary, don’t lower quality.
Black version purchased several years ago is holding up like a champ - newer (salmon, grey) shirts are already going thread bare after about two washes. Really a shame. Would continue to buy these classics if I knew that the company could stand behind value and quality. Noticed that newer shirts list “Made in Sri Lanka”, versus older “Made in El Salvador”.

Great "Shacket"
Nice quality heavyweight flannel for winter wear. Retains heat well esp when paired with a base layer.

Cozy, thick shirt
This shirt is very soft and satisfyingly heavy flannel. The retro design is very nice. I would size up one size if you want to wear it over a few other layers as a light jacket. Wear your regular size if just going to wear with a t-shirt. It's fitted enough to be stylish for a chamois but not so much to put off traditional fit fans.

An Oldie But a Goodie (Actually Great!)
I was thrilled to find this great L.L. Bean staple on the clearance rack in my size. I grew up wearing a shirt identical to this. I loved it then and I love it now.

Nice Heavy Flannel
Im usually between a medium and a large and went with large here. Fits a bit big but works if using as a shacket and want to layer beneath. 5'10 175lb

Help, underarm tears!
I love these shirts! I bought two to replace two I bought a few years ago. The reason they had to be replaced is, they wore out under the arms. The rest of the shirt looks like new, but they wore out under the left arm (husband is right handed). I can't throw out the whole shirt, do you have any suggestions for mending them?

Highly Recommend
The XL slim fit (regular-not tall) shirt fit a 6’2” millennial with broad shoulders. And, he thought it was stylish as the slim fit is not baggy around the stomach. The chamois camel color is what you’d expect.

Love these shirts
Love these shirts. They're comfy and provide a nice layer of warmth during the colder months. I'm not a big guy and I do not like baggy/loose fitting clothing so the 1933 line has been my go-to for LL Bean Chamois. I tried on the regular fit ones and they were simply too baggy for my liking.
I do recommend trying them on in person before buying if you have the chance. I found a couple of the colors in-person to be somewhat different to the presentation online.

Ugly colors
I used to have a red and royal blue version of this shirt. I check every year for a color I might want, but the available colors are very anemic. Once again, no thanks!

Disappointed in quality
Sleeves were way too long (I am 6 ft 4 inches tall). Only one button on each cuff. Fabric didn't feel good on my skin.

Not slim fit
Like all Bean shirts, this is nice. However I bought this because it advertises as a slimmer fit. While this fits my shoulders fine, I could stick a soccer ball under the shirt at my waist. The shirt looks like it was designed for a pregnant woman. The only slim parts of the shirt are the arms, which are too tight to roll up. Quite a disappointment.

Huge drop in quality.
I have couple of these same shirts that I've been wearing for at least 8 or 9 years and they are still in much better condition than the new ones I ordered. I couldn't believe the tremendous drop in quality in these new ones being made in Bangladesh. Terrible matted/pitted fabric and very sloppy looking. Poorly made.

Warm and comfortable!
I love L.L. Bean chamois shirts! I bought my first one in the late 60s as a college student and have had them in my wardrobe ever since. These shirts are my go-to shirts on chilly fall and winter days. They're good for layering over a cotton turtleneck. I particularly like the Signature 1933 version because of how the large-tall size fits. They do shrink a bit in length when drying them in the clothes dryer so I end up with this shirt fitting just the way I like it. I'm 6 feet tall, 200 lbs with a 35 sleeve.

The perfect flannel shirt
It’s the perfect flannel shirt, just like I remember from my youth, except, way back when, they weren’t tailored for bigger shoulders/chest and smaller waists. These are! I couldn’t be happier!
