Overly packaged
Sheet nice but packaging absurd. No idea why LL Bean needs to put the sheet in a plastic zipper bag with two pieces of cardboard among other things. A lot of unrecyclable trash results for no reason. Sheets nice, lose the packaging!

Needs stronger elastic around the edge.
After the second washing the sheet is nearly wrinkle free. I like the slick feel of the percale fabric. The only problem for me is the elastic around the edge of the sheet is not strong enough to keep the sheet taught after sleeping on it.

Disappointed
I bought the king fitted sheet to be sure it would fit my mattress. Fit is great, but I’m disappointed in how thin the sheet seems to be. I purchased Dec 2024. Didn’t realize how thin sheet was until I bought a bed topper with a print design also recommended by Wirecutter. The print shows right through the cream sheet. I’ve had these sheets before and loved them. Had planned on returning for the flat sheet and pillow cases. I’m afraid I will have to look elsewhere.

Beautiful color and quality fabric.
I love the color for summer and spring. I really love that you can buy fitted sheets separate and pillow cases to mix and match. The feel of the fabric is smooth and strong without being heavy.

I love the ability to purchase a fitted sheet separate from a flat sheet and pillowcases. Thank you, Bean, for offering these items à la carte. Just what I need: eco-friendly! I bought a queen fitted sheet. The percale fabric and the construction are good quality.

Good Quality but don't need the plastic
I've already washed these many times and they are still easy to put on the mattress and yet they stay tight. I DON'T like the individual thick, plastic, zippered bags they come in. If not for the packaging they would have 5 stars.

Too big, too much, too bulky!
The bottom queen fitted sheet is way too big for an old mattress. However, the quality is good and I could recommend this sheet - it’s just not for me.

King fitted
Finally, corners that stay on and fit without a struggle. The only reason I gave it a 4-star was the feel of the sheet, just a tab rough, probably should have purchased the 400 count Egyptian cotton. Next time definitely will.

Needed deeper fitting sheets for a new 15” mattress. The color matched my top sheet I’d ordered from LL Bean a few years before so decided it was cheaper to just buy a new fitted sheet, however, it is not the same as my top sheet. I wouldn’t say it’s percale at all. Not cool or crisp. Doesn’t stay put especially if you have an adjustable base. It bunches up underneath you as you turn at night. The good features are that it didn’t wrinkle when washed, it is super soft and I really like the tags on the inner seam that tell you which side is long or short.

Color and texture have changed
I bought this as an additional sheet to go with my existing Lake sheets and comforter cover. I was surprised to find that the color does not match the previous Lake items. The sheet is also made in China, which is not where they were made previously. I decided to keep the sheet, but these changes are disappointing.

Not worth it
The sheet wore through after 18 months despite regular cleaning and care. If you're looking for sheets that will be worth it in the long term, take your money elsewhere.

Very comfortable, torn after fifteen months
I've bought several, and I'm here today to buy another one. My most recent purchase only lasted fifteen months. I think I expect more like two years, so that's why I've only selected four stars. But they are comfortable.

Torn after 3 Years of Use
I find it hard to believe that either a toe-nail or a wedding ring could tear a sheet like this, alas, after ~3.5 years a ~three inch long tear appeared

They're so thin that they feel more like a cotton/poly blend. They are silky and smooth, which would be fine but they're so thin that it comes off feel like polyester. They're not scratchy, they def feel like high quality cotton, but it's just wasted on this thin sheet. I'd say if you're looking for a thin, silky sheets, this is for you. I was expecting more of a stiff, dry cotton feel.

Good Product
I have been using these sheets for over 10 years. When a top or bottom wears out I just order a replacement. It's hard to find good sheets that you can order only a fitted or top sheet individually. We have a queen sized bed and I use a king top sheet to have extra on the sides. Love that they are cotton and very sturdy.
