Fits perfectly.
These fit perfectly on my Vario Hikelite poles. To install, line up the slots on the baskets with the pegs on the pole. Once in place, give the basket a turn on the pole to offset the slots from the pegs. That will keep them from falling off. These are just like the originals.

Lost on second hike
Other reviews had mentioned that these don't stay on. The mounting system for the basket should be improved. I lost one on the second hike with them. LLBens should be selling these 2 for 1, or offer to replace them if lost.

Hikelite Snow Basket
Used these for the first time last week and did not notice a difference between these and the standard baskets in fresh, deep fluffy snow. Also, they were very difficult to remove once they are on because the lower pole spins as you attempt to twist them off. Actually had to use vise grips to hold the pole in order to remove them.

Great customer service
I called LLBean because I lost the basket from my new bean ski poles. I had read some reviews of the product and found that this was an issue with this pole. The rep. was great and had a replacement sent out that day. The new arrived the very next day. Bean has the best customer service bar none.

Issue with snow baskets for LL Bean hiking poles
The reason I purchased these baskets, was to replace the "lost" originals, I bought with the poles..
Even though the baskets go on easily and you just turn them to lock in position, they can easily come off. Apparently, they can get caught on bushes, branches, etc. and turn back to on position and then disappear as you walk/hike.!! This time, I had to glue them on! Which means if I want to change out the baskets with the trekking ones, I will have to remove the glue, somehow. ...and re glue the trekking baskets.Those disappeared too!!
Design issue, I assume.

snow baskets
These baskets are only one inch larger diameter than the small baskets that come with the poles, hardly worth the money. They do, however, seem to attach very simply and relatively securely. Since I am not keeping them, I cannot actually vouch for their quality in use.

Snoe Shoe Pole Baskets........
They work great! I think it's awesome that I can simply replace the baskets if something happens, which did happen on my last time snowshoeing in the Adirondacks. Now I will have extra baskets if something happens while I'm oot & aboot!

Purchased theses snow baskets for spares. I purchased LL Beans winter walker poles and wanted spare baskets in case of damage or lose of the original ones. I tried them on the poles and they fit as promised.

doesn't fit all poles from LL Bean
I lost a basket to my snow shoe poles from LL Bean on their second use. I was excited to find these replacements but they do not fit the poles which come with the LL Bean snow shoe pacakges.
