Lightweight Comfortable Base Layer
The set is listed as a mid-weight base layer but personally I found it to be pretty lightweight and thin. Though it worked just fine for layering under the L.L. Bean Fitness Fleece Toddler set. We had to size up since the 2T was the smallest available so it was a looser fit. We had an issue with the top snagging, but customer service was able to immediately send a replacement item free of charge which was great. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

Comfortable, but slightly small
Super soft and comfortable. My toddler wants to live in these, but I do think they run small. I bought 2T for my larger 20 month old and it fit her just right, but we won't get extended wear time.

Snags Immediately
These are super cute but the shirt snagged in multiple spots on the very first day of wear. My son wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary - just normal wear around the house. I’ve never seen this happen with any of our other clothes, even the cheap stuff! Very disappointed.

My kid picks these out over other long underwear and even over other clothes to wear around the house, so they must be comfortable. They seem to be true to the size chart. We have a pair of 3T that still fit from last year but bought a couple more pairs for this year. Last year our child was still too young to do much for themselves outside. This year I am hoping for more outdoor playtime and these were a must have item.

I was hesitant to order because of some of the reviews. The fabric is the same as my husband's long underwear from Bean. Ordered a 3T for my two year old hoping that we can get two winters out of it. Keeps her warm in snowy Maine and Michigan!

Fabric is thin enough to go underneath clothing and provides extra warmth in addition to wicking moisture. Nick is 2 years old and initially I went with a 2T but had to exchange for a 3T.

we live in montana, so base layers are our game. i bought this set for my two year for ski season after usually buying patagonia or cuddle duds brand. not a good decision. this set is very thin, itchy, and snags SUPER EASILY. we had snags on our set before he even wore it once. if you have any velcro, ANYWHERE in your house, forget it. pass this one up.......

Paper thin
These could not possibly be warm in the slightest way, they are so thin you can see through them. Thinner even than my summertime vapor-wick t's. I will be returning them and going back to Patigonia capelline. They might be more expensive but I'd rather spend the extra money to have my three boys be warm outside in our chilly Adirondack winters.

The only good thing about this is the fit. I ordered a 3T for my robust 2 year old at the time. I had only washed it once and it immediately pilled. You better have princess soft hands or else this will catch on your dry unmanicured hands (im a nurse). This is way way too expensive. I should have returned it immediately. My son is currently 3 right now and this does not fit him, even though I wouldn't put this on him anyway. It wouldn't keep him warm. This fit is good for under snow clothes due to fit. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth after this purchase and it really makes me sad and regretful since I want quality items for my hard earned money.

Love these sets!
We love these long underwear sets. We have used them in many sizes up through 3T (0-3 mos, 3-6 mos, 6-12 mos, 12-18 mos, 2T, 3T). They are fairly true to size and can be worn before and after the actual age, although it is recommended to size up sooner than some items. Our babies and toddlers wear them as a base layer for sleeping and playing indoors and outdoors in cool to cold weather.

Great way to add warmth without bulk for baby
I purchased the 3-6 size for my 2.5month old in November to wear thru the Michigan winter. These have the room for growth to last the season. They are light weight enough to easily wear under his regular clothing to add a layer of warmth on the coldest days. My only caution is the Velcro closure on his bibs caused snags in the fabric when washed together. Since this is a base layer it's not a returnable issue for me. In the future I will be more careful what I wash them with to prevent further damage. Overall happy and will likely purchase them next year in the larger size. If they were a little cheaper I'd buy another pair for this year to have a spare.

The best of both worlds
They are jammies; they are long johns. They are Cute! Although I didn't get a chance to try them on our great niece, they looked like they were exactly the right size. (Mom said gave the size.) We got these, plus the doggy slippers and kid headlamp - an inspiration from LL Bean's new Christmas commercial with the kids waiting for Santa. All were a great hit with the niece!
