Very nice, comfortable and soft.
I purchased the lake color and white. Both are very nice. The only suggestion is to make the neck a little larger. For those of us with larger heads and hair it helps.

Love the quality of this turtleneck but it is on the short side and it shrinks further when washed. - sleeves and length. I am buying a larger size in hopes that the resulting size is what I want. I would recommend but only considering the previous comment and if you don't mind a shorter shirt and are not long in the torso.

I have probably 15 Bean pima cotton turtlenecks; I love them and wear them very often. They are soft, comfortable, good quality and fit well. I really like that there are no knitted cuffs on the sleeves; they are easier to wear without them. Come up with some new colors and I’ll order more!

So Soft, and Not See Through!
I have been on the hunt for sooo long for white tops that are not see through, but also are not so thick they are basically sweaters. This Pima cotton line from L.L.Bean is it!! The material is very soft, but also high quality. The color is a true white, not off-white, and it does not show nude-to-you color through it. The fit is flattering without being too tight or baggy. I can’t recommend it enough!

Totally unusable. The neck was so tight that I could pull it over my head only with the greatest difficulty--and I have a small head. It was too long, came down almost to my knees. In addition, the printed size on the back was clearly visible through the light-colored fabric. I am returning it.
