Nice fabric, good construction
Beautiful fabric and well made. However, after laundering according to your guidelines, there is a lot of shrinkage, especially in the arm length and body length.

Fabric is nice & smooth, but…
The fabric is really smooth, making it easy to slide on layers. However, after I laundered it according to the instructions, it shrunk almost two inches in the length, a little in the bodice. I had ordered a size up because of my experience with shrinkage of Bean’s turtlenecks. Next time, I’ll hang dry.

Lucky turtleneck
This was the perfect turtleneck. I did not know when I ordered it, but it ended up being the perfect color to bring the Eagles' good luck and win the Super Bowl. This will be my forever "lucky turtleneck". It is an excellent quality turtleneck in addition to being a lucky one.

Too Short-Waisted :(
The fabric on this turtleneck was lovely! However, the fit was terrible. It was about an inch too short in the waist and hips. Strangely, the fit was not the same as LL Beans traditional cotton turtleneck. (Not sure who is in charge of quality control? Apparently no one).

Bought three a year ago and loved the quality bu there was substantial shrinkage. I am just over 5 ft and the regular one now barely tucks in and the sleeves are too short

Very versatile piece of clothing.

Beautiful but sleeves too short
I love the fit and fabric. I wish the sleeves were at least an inch longer. My arms are normal length and always feel like I need to pull my sleeves down. I find the crew neck long sleeved Ts made from same fabric the same and when I bought a medium instead of a small, the sleeves were better but of course, the body fit was just a bit too big and too long.

Need longer length
I have at least four of these Pima Cotton Turtlenecks. I also have the Pima Cotton Tee Long Sleeve Crewneck in TALLS. I am 5'9''/140lbs. I usually order a large as I don't like clothing tight to the body. The crewnecks fit great! The regular size items are simply too short in body and sleeve length. The Talls sizes are perfect. Unfortunately, the Pima cotton turtle necks do not come in Tall sizing. So I'm stuck with my shirts coming untucked, and if they are untucked, baring my back when bending over or reaching up as well as bare wrists that get cold. They simply look like I'm wearing a kid shirt. So frustrating. The material is wonderful and the cuffless styling is great as well as the neck sizing, but please, please, offer the turtlenecks and other shirts in Talls. A minimum of one inch should be added to sleeve and body length, preferably two inches.

Unwearable because of fabric care tag on side.
I bought four of these and cannot wear them There is a stiff tag on the side that is incredibly uncomfortable. I tried to snip it off, but there was still a small remnant that scratched my skin (actual red marks). I tried to remove it completely, but it is sewn into the seam so tightly that it caused a rip. Usually a big LL Bean fan, but someone just wasn’t thinking.

Beautiful fabric; runs small
I love the fabric and how smooth and dressy this turtleneck is. I would prefer it to be longer in length (I’m 5’8” and busty). Also, the neck is tighter than I’d like, even in plus sizes. It fits tighter than other 2X clothing I have, so I’d say it runs small.

the pink and light blue colors are beautiful, but that is it. they are super thin, compare to the same product in men's. I am 5'5, 123lb. and tried on size Small. The shoulders are not wide enough, the torso length not long enough, the sleeves are ok but wish they were slightly longer, the width of the torso is too big (even though this is not my main issue with this product). I suggest you go back to the drawing board and increase prices if you have to, but please produce a good quality product that is it thick and warm, it is a turtleneck after all.

Runs small!!
Very disappointing not consistent sizing. Runs very small and SHORT! I have sn older one same size fits fine. A lot of L.L. Bean shirts and sweaters are way too short or they shrink up

Best Quality Turtleneck
I have been purchasing this turtleneck for years, and I have many colors in different sizes. I love the silky feeling and open cuff under my sweaters. When it’s really really cold, I wear the cotton Interlock turtleneck with a full cuff to block the cold. I always wash in cold water to help retain the colors. I love matching the turtlenecks to their sweaters.
