Small problem
I’m 5 feet five and weigh 135 pounds and bought a size 12 regular. The pants fit as expected.except the waist was too tight.

Good pants but could do without the comfort waist
The Good: The fabric is nice, the length of the petite pants is perfect. After several washings, they still look new. The Bad: The comfort waist isn't. It feels low on my back, to the point where I feel like I constantly need to pull them. If these were tailored more like the ultra high rise LL (Double L) jeans, they'd probably get five stars from me. The gathers make the back view bulky whereas without them they would look sleek. I don't like the other style of comfort waist, either, with the elastic expansion sides. It leaves the pockets open at the top and creates a baggy look. Just lose the comfort waist altogether and make a nice pair of ultra high rise pants.

Inferior fabric
I have been buying these pants for decades. The fabric is flimsy, nothing like the substantial cotton twill of pants I own. And I hate the exposed elasticized waistband. I returned them immediately.

These cotton rich twills are comfortable because of the elastic in the waist. Substantial weight fabric compared to where a lot of clothing seems to be headed. Tapered leg isn’t hugely tapered. Sits at my natural waist. Medium tall is just the right length - hopefully they don’t shrink in length.

Have worn this pant for many many years.
Have worn these pants for years. The quality appears to be the same however this pair in the size I wear is a bit small in the waist. I’ve kept them to try on again after I lose a few pounds.

As a realtor I have encountered a few dogs who are sneaky and will try to bite. Their teeth cannot puncture these pants which make them perfect! They fit well, can be dressed up or down, and go everywhere.

Great pants!
These pants are great quality- thick but not too heavy. They are super high waisted. In my experience, they *just* fit in the waist but were much bigger in the thighs/legs. All in all I like them though and would purchase again.

Very unisex utilitarian style
I wanted a nice pair of khaki pants for church. The quality is and fabric weight is good, but they are very masculine in fit. Even my husband shook his head and said they look like they were men’s pants. Very tight in the rear crack but baggy in the legs. I’m 5’4” and 157lbs. I’m an average build in my opinion. I typically wear a size 10 on good days and a 12 on most. I ordered a 12 to be safe but would need a 14 in these for the waist. Returned due to fit. The search continues…

Tried and true original fit
These are the same pants I’ve been buying for years, primarily for summer wear. Every time one pops through at the knee, I purchase another. They fit me well and are comfortable. Not too tight in the legs and seat, but waist stays in place. I wish LL Bean would offer more styles of pants in “original fit,” including the nonelastic version of these. i don’t find the elastic objectionable, however.

Excellent Quality but the elastic doesn't stay in
I LOVE the quality of the pants. But the elastic in the waist is very weird. It doesn't stay in place and is very flimsy. I don't like this at all.
Can anything be done to fix this? I would love to just send the pants back that I bought and then once fixed have them sent back. What do you think of about this?

Wear like iron
Last time i purchased these pants was a least ten years ago. I wear a pair every day to work.. It is my "uniform" with an oxford blouse. I work with young children and they wash up well with minimal pressung.
