Whoever says, "they don't build things like they used to," doesn't own a pair of these. Our signature boots are still sewn right here in Maine - one pair at a time - by expert craftspeople whose technical skills and passion for their work is evident in every pair they make. As rugged and hardworking as they were over 100 years ago, chances are you'll only ever need one pair.

  • Waterproof rubber boot bottom keeps feet dry.
  • Waterproof full-grain leather upper sheds rain and snow.
  • Uniquely shaped foot form offers comfort and stability, and a steel shank adds support.
  • Iconic triple-needle stitching provides long-lasting durability.
  • Legendary chain-tread outsole gives reliable traction.
  • Best for rain, mud and other wet conditions.
  • Not designed to stay submerged in water.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My best winter boots These are the best boots I've ever bought for snow. They are water resistant and buying the next size up means I have enough room for thick socks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots The boots are well made and comfortable. I followed the suggested size chart and bought a size 7. I typically wear a 7 1\2. They fit perfectly, with thick socks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Skimped on height. Not quite as high as the 6" bean boot I purchased years ago. At least it is still made in the USA>

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wife is happy, I'm happy. Wife loves them! She typically wears a 7 in everything else but we did have to size down to a 6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylishly comfortable and practical Very comfy boots! I bought one size up so I can wear a thicker sock. This boot is the perfect in between boot and does keep the snow out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase Great boot. Comfortable and warm. Bought a size smaller than I normally wear, as it runs big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from more Bean Boots I got tired of taking my old bean boots back and forth from CO to ME. So I left the good ole ones in Maine and bought a new pair for CO. Best rainy year round boot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The next 30 years I finally replaced the pair I’ve had for 30 years. Still the same great quality, though I do miss the shearling insole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Bean Boot Perfect all weather boot. These are perfect for rain, snow and everything in between! I also love the classic look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had to get narrow I tried every size known to man! The narrow boots fit me best. The weather has softened up substantially, and they are very comfortable! I find myself throwing them on every time it rains!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what they used to be Quality was off. Stitching was loose, stitching coming apart, excess glue and upper separating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perf ct This is an addition to several other pairs of LLBean boots I have. I wear these to bathe my horse and they are perfect in keeping my feet dry. I keep another pair in my car and two pair at home for wet rainy conditions. I have worn LLBean boots forever and I can’t say enough good things about them!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new Bean boots Terrific boot. Great fit and perfect gardening shoe. I am usually snug in a 7 1/2 medium width, but often need either an 8 or 7 1/2 wide. I wear thick socks when I garden. I went to the store to try on the size 7and it fits exactly the way I want it to fit. I've worn it in the garden every day since purchase and I love 'em.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These Boots Rock! I own and love a pair of the rubber moccasin version of Bean Boots (my primary gardening shoe), so I immediately chose the 6" boots when I needed something for birding expeditions. No more sopping wet feet--I even forded a shallow stream in these--and better protection against ticks. Totally comfortable from the first wearing, even with my wide feet and a bunion. I totally recommend these boots!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Midnight Rain I recently attended the Taylor Swift Rain Show at Gillette Stadium (IYKYK). It wasn't just a few Teardrops On My Guitar kind of rain, it was Treacherous. Mother Nature was looking for Revenge! I was dancing like a Mad Woman on the Holy Ground, I mean really Shaking It Off for over 3.5 as the rain got Crazier. In my Wildest Dreams, I did not think my boots would Tolerate the water but my feet stayed Safe and Sound. These boots are a true Love Story, they really are The 1 and I had The Best Day. As for all the other boots in my life We Are Never Getting Back Together.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unsatisfactory After only about a month of wearing this boot, a stick punctured a hole in the side of the boot and cut my foot, left a bruise. I would have expected it to stand up to a twig. I returned the boots, thankful that was easy to do and purchased a different type of boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable Fit, Low Cut, Waterproof & Cool I was worried reading some reviews about the stiffness of these boots - I bought 1 size down and wide, they fit perfectly. They are somewhat stiff but that shows the quality of the leather, wearing them with thick socks makes them easy to break in and I’m excited to farm in these boots. I like them as an alternative to full on rubber boots especially when it’s hot but the soil is still muddy. And wow made in USA, great to see big companies staying true to their values!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute boots Great boots for cold season and rainy season. Fits great and no issues with blisters or uneven fit. Looks good with leggings Sturdy boot and good quality

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit I first bought a less expensive brand, but could not get them on at all (high instep). Returned them and bought these, following Bean's sizing guide. Perfect fit. I have worn them for several hours at a time in muddy conditions; they are consistently comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots I bought several pairs of name-brand boots for snow days. None of them were good. They were all leaked. This pair is the only one that has no water stains or leaks. I was able to wear wool socks and keep my feet dry. Later I bought another pair for my kid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love, great for every day, had to replace insole The insole on these was not comfortable for me but otherwise I love them so much. It was easy to pull out and replace with one from the drug store. Fixed the problem for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots Very good quality boots. I’m usually a size 10. After trying on on the store, I went with a size 9 and it fits quite well with a medium to thin sock which is my preference. 9 1/2 really would’ve been better, but the 10 was definitely too big and they don’t do half sizes which is unfortunate. With insulated L.L. Bean boots, I wear my usual size 10. A bit expensive, but a very good investment in my opinion as these feel like they will last for years to come.
