Strange shape
Seemed like good jeans until I tried to get them around my waist. Fit otherwise. I have a relatively small waist. I usually am sewing darts or wearing belts to keep some of my pants up. This needed another inch or two! Maybe Barbie could do it.

They're OK, but...
I only bought these because the classic fit tapered leg double L jeans seem to going extinct. I much prefer them without the ugly, bulky comfort waist but I want real denim jeans, not spandex denim. They're like finding a needle in a haystack so I grabbed these while I could. I wish LL Bean would bring them back -- not sure why they don't, since I've read similar reviews on your site.

Happy with these jeans
I like the Women's Double L Jeans with the comfort waist very much. They are very comfortable and suitable for everyday wear. They are all cotton and although the fabric was rinsed, from the past I've found that they shrink some. I'm not going to put them in the dryer in an effort to minimize shrinkage. I buy the petite size, but I'm on the tall end of petite. I've washed these jeans once, and there was very minimal shrinkage.

Tight waist, rest OK fitting
Waist is tight. But, as it is elastic, it should relax after being worn a while and the elastic becomes stretched out. The fabric seems thinner than these jeans used to be.

The only jeans that fit me, and they hold up well
Why are these jeans being discontinued? First the Plus size and now these? PLEASE BRING THEM BACK. They are the only jeans I've ever tried that fit my body shape, and this includes other LLBean styles and multiple styles from other store.
I've worn these in numerous sizes as my weight has increased quite a bit due to illness. As I gained weight I gave the smaller sizes away. Now I am losing a little weight and wish I still had them!

Perfect fit for my shape
I've always bought comfort waist jeans because I have an unusual shape. The elastic in the waist fits perfectly and I don't have that gap that I would have with a regular pair of jeans. They are comfortable and soft after numerous washings.

Best Jeans
