Always out of stock!!!!!
Been trying to replace my 25 year-old pair of these for OVER A DECADE now but W6.5D are always OUT OF STOCk!! I check the status dozens of times of year. Soooo disappointing. Also quite ridiculous.

Please bring back the Cresta Hiker!!
I have been trying to purchase a second pair of Cresta hikers for the past several months. But, they have been unavailable in every size for the regular width. This is the first time in my life that I wish I had wide feet....then I could order them in the wide size. I have been wearing my Crestas for about 15 years for hiking, backpacking, and yard work. So comfy and sturdy! Like other reviewers have mentioned, they don't need much time to break in. They are just starting to separate at the seam, so I wanted to get a new pair. I hope these boots have not been discontinued. L.L Bean, please bring them back!!!

Best hiking boot
I am on my 3rd pair of Cresta Gore-Tex hiking boots. They are the best!! I backpacked Isle Royale in July and started checking in May 2024 to order a new pair. When are you going to have them in stock?!! I am so disappointed that they have been unavailable for purchase.

I have gone through 2 pairs of these and they are the best boots. I went to order a new pair and not a single size is available in regular width. They stay dry. I have worn them on many hikes all over the world as well as city walking in winter in italy, germany etc. They provide such good support for feet and ankles and I don't mind the extra weight. Please restock!!!

What a pleasant surprise! Perfect fit!
I’d been hesitant to purchase these boots, but with such good reviews I went ahead a took a guess at what size would be a comfortable fit! To my surprise a size 7 wide was what I needed! My shoe size is 6 1/2 - 7. They feel wonderful! Slightly snug with wool socks on but as stated they need some time to break in. Comfy on the inside! Beautiful dark brown leather made in Romania! Boot laces on the boots perfectly match the dark brown leather! Comes with dark green laces as an option!

Are these still being made??
I went online to purchase another pair of the Cresta Hikers, and there are ZERO sizes available in MD width. These are the BEST hiking boots for support and comfort! Please tell me these are going to be restocked soon and that LLBean is not dropping another iconic product of theirs due to the "lightweight" hiker push...These boots have earned their reputation and provide the best support and comfort out there out of ANY hiking boots.
