Wonderful even warmth
Even though I do not live in a cold climate I am now retirement age and get colder easier. Plus it is sometimes hard to stay warm when reading or inactive. Cold goes right through jeans and these long underwear pants give great results. As they are mostly wool they have the usual warm-wool-blanket feel. I have synthetic long undies too and I like my most of those and the silk ones, but there is something special about wool that makes me feel like I am in a warm blanket almost immediately after I put them on. I love this product and the similar top that matches them. I have bought these part wool, part cotton LL Bean underwear for years and the latest ones control the itch from wool better. It is not gone completely, but nearly. For putting up with the slight wool itch for me it is just wonderful to wear them.

Great long johns
This is my sixth pair, all of which are good and warm and comfy. For my most recent pairs I switched to the tall/long version just because I like the longer ones for jammies, even though the regulars were fine for winter wear under my cords. My original three regular length pairs are still in good shape, literally, after many years and dozens and dozens of washes.

I like these insulated base layer pants but most things marked 2x fit me well but these were to large and I needed suspenders to keep them up and I like the extra length in the legs

SIZING IS A LITTLE DIFFICULT AT LL BEAN THESE days as I have ordered one thing in a certain size and it will fit great and another item in the same size and it will not fit.

I bought 4 pairs of these for Christmas gifts. 2 size small for our average size 8th grader and freshman, 1 size mesium for our 5’8” 19 year old and one size large tall for my hubby. They are super warm and soft. No ones complained of them being itchy! Will buy again!

Just looking fora comfortable, easy wearing but warm garment for winter warmth. I plan to be outside as much in winter as I am in summer and these make it possible. Very happy with purchase and will be buying more.
