Nice quarter zip, more fitted than expected
This fits a bit more snug than the adventure grid quarter zip and is a little more refined. I like the pullover as a whole, just a little too fitted for my taste.

Great alone or as a layering piece.

Sizes are way big and no free returns
Ordered this online along with Ridgeknit and Adventure Grid Fleece pullovers all in size large. MOST manufacturers size large fit me well, but I was swimming in all 3 of these items. I would classify them as XL, not L. So returning them and paying $6.50 fee for the gift of getting to try them on. So be aware that LL Bean DOES NOT offer free returns, and their sizes (at least Men's L) run awfully big compared to many other brands. As for me, not shopping at online clothing retailers that don't offer free returns anymore. (or even exchanges??? maybe I would have liked to exchange for a M?)

It's not warm
I like the Carbon color, and I like the texture of the fabric, and the tall size fits me well, but this is not a warm sweater. Wearing it adds about as much warmth as putting on a long sleeved Oxford cloth cotton shirt. I'm keeping it, but I wish it had a micro fleece lining.
