They are great
I bought these shoes to wear on a trip to New York City. We walked over eight miles each day for six days and not once did my feet hurt. The shoes were comfortable and provided the support that kept my 71 yr old feet safe.....

Great for work, hiking and play.
Bought to replace a very old and abused pair of slip on Storm Chasers. Which are still used - but only for yard & dirty work.
These are even more comfortable than my Storm Chaser Slip Ons. An absolute Great Shoe for
out with family or friends. As well as a Great hiking or everyday shoe. The fact they are laced and not slip on makes for feeling more secure.

Comfortable and warm!
They look like clodhoppers out of the box. But when I finally had an opportunity to wear them outside in the cold with snow and ice on the ground, they were surprisingly comfortable for a long walk. And they're well-insulated, so my feet were never cold.
The laces take some time and practice to tighten properly.

Great Shoes
When these shoes arrived I thought they would be too heavy for everyday wear but once I tried them on, they didn't feel heavy at all. Some of the best fitting and most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Very happy with my purchase.

Great Hikers
I bought these to replace a pair of hikers that lasted just a few months. I was very pleased with the quality of the shoes, much better than the shoes I had beforeThey are natural leather tops so I used a little mink oil to preserve them but they are very comfortable shoes for outdoor walking. They are a little heavier than what I was used to, but I quickly acclimated to them. I think they run a little large but with a thicker hiking sock they are fine. Overall a nice well made shoe

Really pleased...
I like everything about this hiking shoe except the sole liner, it's very thin and has little archsupport. By replacing it with a Dr. Scholls full liner, the shoes are then perfect.
