Too large
Slippers are way too big even after downsizing. Even knowing the sizes are way too large, LL BEAN still suggests to size up! Than we have to pay for postage to send them back.

Huge!
I have wide feet and normally I wear a 6.5 B shoe. I order down when a shoe only comes in full sizes. These slip-ons look very nice but are huge. I would need a size 5 and the smallest size available is a size 6. Sadly, they will be returned.

A mixed bag
These slippers are convenient to take on and off. They have shoe-like soles for good traction and support; in fact, I accidentally wore them to the store! They do not have as much padding in their footbed as I thought they would, and so are less comfortable for daily, long-term wear. Also, the size 8, my normal shoe size, was far too big. I traded them for size 7, but still need a pair of heavy socks for them to fit correctly. Whoever is sizing them should re-evaluate, they truly run large.

Too big and wool is already pilling after 3 wks
I want to love these really supportive, nice looking slippers. They are comfy but they are about a size too big and are loose even with socks, which is annoying. The wool was smooth and pretty at first but pilling/fluffy on top now. Overall I wouldnn't recommend.

Size issues
The sizes are completely off. I’m between a 6 and 7. 7 way to big. Returned and ordered a 6 which is also way too big. Feeling over it and going to trouble of chancing if a 5 will fit.

Good basic design
Good amount of wool to keep warm, and nice arch support. Comfy! I like the leather band all the way around to keep the wool from wearing through. I took off one star for no 1/2 size and the white on the sides of the sole which shows dirt too easily.

Cute casual shoe
I love the wool style and the soles are very supportive and comfortable however they do run wide and are on the bigger side. I usually wear a size 8 but ordered a 7.5 based on other reviews and they’re still a tad too big on me. The opening is wide and does not fit snuggly around ankle but it gives me a relaxed feeling. My heel does slip out slightly while walking but not enough to be annoying.

Couldn't find a size that fit
I'm a 7.5 wide, so I ordered the 8, as I usually size up for Bean shoes anyway. They must have been at least an inch longer than my feet, but seemed comfortable and well-made. I returned them for a 7, which was just as long, but not as wide. I was afraid to go down another size, as the width was already getting tight. Too bad, as they did appear to be nice shoes. I returned.

Lightweight and warm
I think I will find these really useful once the colder weather arrives. I like the fact they have a proper sole to them and this will prevent slipping on smooth surfaces which is good. They are easy to get on and off too.
I did end up ordering a size smaller than normal as I thought they were really generously sized.

Great stability and warmth ...and Quiet!
I have to balance and gait issues. I don't like faux fair and prefer natural materials. Wool keeps you warm and wicks moisture. ( if any) Looking all over at wool slippers, these fit the bill! I do not need to wear socks if I don't want to, there is a removable foot bed and room for an orthotic. I got an 8...normally an 8.5 in shoes. The 8 is borderline too big but a seven would have been too small. So...I think order down if you are a half size I could wear thick socks with these and not feel restricted. Full support throughout ...and quiet!

Perfect Winter Shoe
This is a very sturdy yet comfortable shoe. Slightly on the larger side (but I am old and my feet might have shrunk a bit, truly). The slightly larger room will actually be a bonus in the winter when I wear thick socks for warmth. I love these shoes !!!
