Man’s small fits a short, slim woman!
Purchased by a mature petite slim woman! Needed a replacement for a much loved and frequently worn 15 year old men’s small Goretex jacket from another company that I loved for its generous cut and rugged construction. Nice looking and I like the rain hood with cord
Fit as expected, looks fantastic. It's more of a warmer weather rain jacket, just feels colder than my other rain jackets. But it is made well and I wear it whenever we go out to eat. Love the pockets with snaps as well.

Nice jacket, not great fit.
Seems to be a nice jacket but as I have noticed, the sizing and fit chart for every jacket I have purchased from LL Bean in the pas few years has been not accurate. All seem to run small over all, or small in the shoulders or waist or both. Not sure what decision was made to change the fit but it's not very user friendly.

Don’t bother
My husband wanted this for Christmas. Ordered his regular size -too small, reordered next size up-still tight but no more sizes. I told him we could exchange again for a different style considering the sleeves on both sizes barely came to his wrist. He didnt want to bother and said he’ll wear it randomly anyway. For over 100$ it should be far better fitting and quality.

Versatile
I love this jacket because, in addition to being a rain jacket, it's a great windbreaker for chilly weather. I go hiking with a light fleece underneath it. That setup keeps me surprisingly warm, and it's super easy to fit into my backpack after I warm up on the trail. I like the soft, comfy fabric on the inside. It could use another pocket (it only has two), but otherwise I love it.

Slim fit nonsense and no inside pocket
Slim fit nonsense .. and does not have an inside pocket .. I am 5' 10" tall and 180#, a typical LLB size large for their standard natural fit clothing, of which they have almost none anymore .. LLB is in love with the slim fit nonsense that is so prevalent today, completely forgetting that the purpose of outerwear is to allow layering underneath .. this rain coat chest size large fit me okay with its 50 3/4" actual garment chest dimension, but the cross shoulder dimension of 18 3/4" was a couple inches shy of a picnic and was way too snug .. the extra large chest at was fine across the shoulders at 19 1/2", but was 3" too big in the chest at 53 3/4" .. a natural fit cut of this jacket in a large would have fit fine .. but since it does not have an inside pocket, buying it became moot anyway ..

Amazing jacket - hood needs work.
While I absolutely love this jacket, I will say I wish the hood fit better. When up, it falls forward too easily and becomes a "blinder" which is not good when one is walking three dogs in the rain.

A+ for women who want a longer version
Perfect rain coat! I opted for the men’s jacket (I’m a woman) because I wanted the longer length and I’m so glad I did. The women’s version of this is oddly cropped, so I decided to try the men’s version and it hits like a normal rain jacket.
