Don’t buy this item mail order as it lacks quality
Total joke! There is a full two inch space between my heel and the back of the shoes. Both my Keen shoe and Clark are the size marked on the Rubber Mocs, and they fit well. While the width is OK the shoe should be marked “narrow “ as they are so long.

“Why did I wait so long to buy these”
Bought a pair for my husband who needed a quick easy slip on when going outside in wet or slippery Michigan weather. Hard to find shoes that work for him as he has high arches and limited motion.
There was a disclaimer when buying the shoes about sizing and I thought I followed the direction but if wearing regular thickness socks the shoe is too big. If wearing thicker socks, golden. Will draw the laces tighter to see if that solves the foot flop problem.

Iconic product but time for an upgrade
I have been buying Bean Hunting boots for 40 years. Greatest boot for sneaking and slipping up on deer. Good for muddy situations. The boots have evolved little but outdoor recreation has evolved. Time to add speed laces, Bean used to offer the “bob” sole, bring the bob sole back. It is time to offer replaceable insoles including an insulated insole. Can there be an insulated booty insert? Maybe have options on the insulated booty such as 200 grams or 400 grams of thinsulate.

Great boot but size is a crapshoot.
I've had three pairs over a 20 year period. Great for spring and fall out in the yard or fields. Not great for very cold weather. Sizing is crazy large. I wear a 13 in every other brand. an 11 is a little loose for me in these things.

Surprisingly Disappointed
very disappointed. I have been shopping Beans for 50+ years and have had more than half a dozen Bean Boots. these are the first (low cut) Moc style and they just don't fit comfortably. I ordered my normal size and they were crazy large. returned for a second pair 1/2 size smaller and still way too large so returned those for 1-1/2 sizes under my normal. These are still loose even with my heaviest Bean wool hunting socks. Nonetheless I thought I should try them and so took the dog for a short walk. these ride up on my heels so much they pull the sicks down to bunch up under my feet. Just not at all comfortable so I guess i write them off as an expensive lesson learned.

Good - while they last
They do not last. i usually get about four years out of these. My latest pair literally fell apart after two years. The soles are about as usual, but the stitich for the uppers completely disintegrated. They are completely and utterly useless at this point. Not buying more. Done with these shoes after wearing them since the 70's. Buh bye! Oh, and BTW, I posted a review previously, and it went through the whole process, told me it was posted, and it is missing. So I am doing this AGAIN so that you do not make the same mistake I made.

Bean Mocs - first time wearing.
I bought these to replace Bean boots used for many years and worn out. The mocs fit differently and I find my heal slightly slipping out vs. the boot. I downsized to 9 from a normal 10 to 11 shoe and sneakers. This is not a big issue if you downsize enough but takes getting used to.

Miss sized shoes
On device from the rep for ll bean I ordered a whole size smaller which was the right thing to do even with that the shoes are still slightly too bid with the right shoe being larger than the left and attempting to snug them up by tiring the strings tighter only helps somewhat I kept them because of the fear a size 9 wound be too small

Heed the sizing advice and test thoroughly
I normally wear a size 10, so ordered a 9. This summer, out of the box, they felt fine. Two months later, after two 2 mile walks, the shoes feel 1/2 size too long, and “bite” above fourth and fifth toes. Probably I can fill the heels, but the bite may be a problem.

Mens rubber Mocs
Have had these rubber mocs now for almost 1.5 years. Just noticed that the threading has ripped and the back leather of the shoe has ripped apart. I use these shoes to walk every day in a grass field that is always damp. But I am about to order another pair.

Too big
These sizes are negligently too big by a factor of 2 1/2… if you wear a normal size 12 you should order a size 9 1/2. I gave up after my second try… threw the first pair in the trash.
