Why not in Allspice?
I bought the cargo pants in the Comfort Stretch Pants to see if I liked the material. I love the material, so I decided to order a pair of the straight Comfort Stretch Pants in Allspice. Only to find out it is not available - felt like this was a bait & switch. The color swatches make it look as if all the pants are available in 5 colors. I am disappointed.

Great pants, would love to have black
I was looking for casual pants with a regular waistband and pockets. I’m done with drawstring and elastic waists. These are lightweight and soft fabric. I launder as normal and take out of the dryer quickly to prevent wrinkles. The only negative is color selection, a charcoal gray and black would be nice. The green is kind of an olive “army green.”

Nice pants for casual dressy for out to dinner and such. I wore them the first time and tho they loosened up a bit, they still looked good. Nice to have something comfortable without the extra cargo pockets on the legs.

love this, but needed hemming
I really like these pants. However they were too long and needed to be hemmed.

Not My Size
The pants are just what I'm looking for - casual comfort, mid-rise, soft fabric. The sizing seems off to me. I have always worn LL Bean petite size 10 pants, but these are way off. Very baggy all over. They might work for others but not for me.That's why only three stars.

Great looking and very comfortable
This morning I bought these in the LL Bean store near me, went home and washed them and them wore them around the house for the rest of the day. They fit me perfectly, are very comfortable and the material is unbelievably soft. They came out of the dryer ready to wear-I don’t think I’ll ever need to iron them. Anyway, I ordered 2 more pairs.

Wrinkles Easily
I have tried on numerous pairs of chinos trying to find something that fits me, 5'3", 123#. These pants fit almost perfectly, but there are two issues. The fabric is a bit flimsy, and the pants were a mess of wrinkles right out of the bag. The navy color looked very faded and not at all attractive. I'm returning.

Not sure about these pants. Nice looking but material is funny. It wrinkles and I had no intention of ironing this kind of casual garment. Also sorta big in the waist. Wish they were 100% cotton, no spandex. Normally I love all my L L Bean clothes!

Okay could be better
I had hoped that these would be my summer go to pants. They are okay, but here's what I don't like. The color is slightly yellow, not stone. They wrinkle so much. I had to iron them. I am 5'4 and weigh 135 pounds. I bought the medium. Fit is okay, but zipper sticks out a bit. I wish that LLBean would make more lightweight summer pants that are not linen, other than these. Not all of us 74 year olds want to wear shorts, especially in the cold grocery store. I kept them becasue I'm desparate.

Not the same Chino
I thought these would be similar but dressier than the other chinos I have. I had already bought all the colours in the other chinos so tried these although pretty pricey. Not at all happy-sloppy after wearing, length shrunk after washing and wrinkled way too much! The seams are not straight on one leg so looks pulled to one side. The material is slippery. For the money I expected much nicer pants-my cheaper ones are my favourites!!

I was very glad to find a mid-rise, straight-leg chino as have experienced some difficulty with that lately. The fit and cut are a positive, but the material wrinkles very easily and has no body even with starch. I bought these to wear in a business casual office but am afraid they may look a bit too sloppy. I wish L.L. Bean would revive the peachskin type material available when I first purchased their chinos in 2007.

Website colors deceiving
I've ordered 2 different colors in these comfort stretch pants. Neither matched the LLBean website pictures. The pinnut, which looks beige online, is quite yellow. The indigo slate, which looks blue online, is grey. I like the fit, so I'm trying once more and ordering the navy. I can only hope it looks like navy when it arrives.

Good product, good fit, good packaging!
I was delighted when my daughter (a regular LL Bean customer) told me tall sizes were now available. I found the Med.Tall size in these pants a perfect fit for my 5'11" self! I love the color and feel of the fabric. After the first wash I wished the fabric had a bit more body. It came out a bit wrinkled. (I'm always hoping I don't have to iron.)
I was also delighted to have my package delivered in a paper bag!!! The less plastic, the better!
